Elephant Racing suspension parts for Porsche models from Design911.
A Quick Look at Elephant Racing
Elephant Racing is the established global leader in design and manufacture of performance suspension products for Porsche cars. Silicon Valley is the new center of automotive technology, electric, and autonomous cars. Elephant Racing is the Silicon Valley approach applied to automotive suspension products. Our business model is built around web enablement, sophisticated engineering tools, and the development of advanced automotive suspension technology.
Choosing the Right Fit for Your Porsche
Where Elephant Racing is listed for Porsche, use the supplied model coverage and OE references to confirm suitability. Check details that commonly affect fitment such as model year, side/position, and connector type where relevant.
- Typical reasons to choose Elephant Racing suspension parts include correcting geometry on older Porsche models, replacing tired rubber bushes, and improving stability under braking or during fast-road and track driving.
- Common symptoms pointing to suspension work include wandering, vague steering, knocking, uneven tyre wear, and instability on turn-in or braking, often caused by worn bushes, joints, or incorrect geometry.
- Plan for a full four-wheel alignment after suspension work, as settings have a major effect on how your Porsche feels and how evenly the tyres wear.
- Where possible, replace related components as a system (bushes, joints, and associated hardware) rather than one item in isolation to get the best result.
- When diagnosing suspension noises, confirm the exact source first; many clunks and knocks come from wear in bushes or links rather than the main component you initially suspect.
- After upgrades, check fasteners and joints again after some mileage, and have geometry confirmed once the components have settled.
Browse by Category
If you already know the area you are working on, start with the category and then filter by Porsche model. Where real-world symptoms and typical reasons to replace are provided, use them to keep the wording grounded.
Suspension & Axle — Suspension and axle components are typically chosen to restore or improve the way a Porsche rides, steers, and brakes. Where Elephant Racing parts are listed, they can be used to address issues such as knocking over bumps, uneven tyre wear, wandering, vibration, pulling under braking, sagging ride height, and clunks during acceleration or direction changes, with selection guided by whether you want an original feel or a firmer, more controlled setup.
- Replace suspension parts in logical pairs or sets (for example left/right on an axle) to keep behaviour consistent.
- Budget for alignment after any significant suspension work to ensure geometry is correct.
Anti Roll Bar — Anti-roll bar components for Porsche are used to control body roll and fine-tune cornering balance. Where Elephant Racing options are available, they are typically selected to reduce roll, improve turn-in, or refresh worn factory hardware when symptoms such as clunking, excessive lean in bends, or uneven cornering feel appear.
- Before condemning the bar itself, inspect drop links and bushes carefully, as these are common sources of noise.
- When changing bar stiffness, consider the effect on front/rear balance rather than upgrading one end in isolation.
Anti Roll Bar Bracket — Anti-roll bar brackets secure the bar to the chassis or subframe and are important for keeping the system correctly located. In the Porsche context they are usually replaced when corrosion, distortion, or stripped threads prevent the bar from clamping firmly, or during a wider suspension refresh where fixings are seized or weakened.
- Inspect brackets for rust, cracks, and poor clamping before reusing them during anti-roll bar work.
- Use correct torque and fresh hardware where needed to prevent future loosening and noise.
Suspension Upgrades — Suspension upgrade parts allow you to tailor your Porsche for road, fast-road, or track use. Where Elephant Racing upgrade components are listed, they are generally chosen to improve body control, cornering balance, and steering response, or to support changes in ride height and geometry.
- Start any upgrade plan with a clear goal (comfort, response, track focus) so that spring, damper, and bush choices work together.
- After significant upgrades, plan for professional geometry setup and, where relevant, corner-weighting.
Anti Roll Sway Bar — Anti-roll (sway) bars link the left and right suspension to reduce body roll. Replacement or upgrade on a Porsche is usually driven by the need to restore stability, adjust understeer/oversteer balance, or address corrosion and wear in the existing bar and hardware.
- Consider renewing bushes and links at the same time as the bar to avoid retaining old wear points.
- Avoid extreme stiffness changes at one end of the car without considering the overall handling balance.

Fits:
Porsche 911/930 1972-89
✓ Laser Cut – Fits the profile of the shock tower perfectly.
✓ Strong – Solidly ties the towers and cross-member into unibody box sections and inner wheel well. Distributes the shock loads properly and reinforces the entire section.
✓ Holes – Great appearance and convenient routing of hoses and wires.
✓ Weld from one side – Fully seam weld without removing rear firewall.
✓ Light Weight – Properly engineered to distribute loads, not 'over engineered' with excess material and weight.
When converting the 911 torsion bar rear suspension to coilover, the rear shock towers should be reinforced. Coilover springs introduce loads the towers were not designed to handle. Without reinforcement, cracks can develop over time – most frequently between the crossmember and unibody box sections.
Our reinforcement kit strengthens this vulnerable area and properly distributes coilover spring loads.
Rear Shock Tower Reinforcement
Our brackets make it easy to get a professional result, saving you the time and guesswork cutting your own.
This kit requires welding for installation.

Prevent or repair common failure point.
Elephant Racing Swaybar Mount Reinforcement Panels will help prevent or repair the common problem of cracked swaybar mounts resulting from the application of overly stiff, binding, or incorrectly adjusted aftermarket swaybars.
Elephant Racing Swaybar Mount Reinforcement Panels are precision laser-cut from18 gauge steel. They distribute the swaybar loads into the bulkhead and double-layer sheet metal just beyond the original single-layer hole location.
You may also be interested in an upgrade to Elephant Racing's QuickChange Blade Style Swaybar which mounts to the chassis using spherical bushings that articulate or "float" ensuring no binding. Spherical bushings allow mounts to automatically re-align themselves when the chassis is flexing under load. We believe this binding plays a significant role in the mount's failure.
Installation requires welding

AL trailing arms only
Rear CamberMax kit simplifies 911 rear camber adjustment, making it easy to achieve aggressive negative camber settings of 3+ degrees. Instead of using the troublesome factory eccentric bolt, Rear CamberMax allows adjustment with a simple and precise screw.
Unlike the stock eccentric adjuster, Rear CamberMax allows adjustment with vehicle weight resting on the tires making it easy to read a camber gauge while turning the adjuster.
By making equal adjuster turns on both driver and passenger sides, quick changes can be made trackside even if a camber gauge is not available – try that with the factory eccentric adjuster!
Note – Fits factory spring plates and AL trailing arms only. Does not fit Sway-a-way plates or steel trailing arms.

Make Quick Camber Changes, Independent of Caster.
A bolt-in camber plate that allows easy camber adjustment, independent of caster. Indices allow adjustment without a camber gauge. Change camber track-side based on tire temp information, or switch between street and track settings easily.
✓ +/- 1.25 degrees added range
✓ Adjust camber independent of caster
✓ Make track-side camber changes
✓ Adjust without a gauge
✓ Completely bolt on
QuickChange for camber flexibility.
Loosening the large center nut allows camber to be changed quickly. Built-in indices allow accurate positioning without using a camber gauge. The included safety snap ring prevents the nut from coming off in the event it is not properly torqued.
You can easily maintain separate street and track camber settings, or quickly make track-side adjustments based on tire temperature.
The included monoball is oversized for long life and provides free, non-binding movement while precisely positioning the strut top.
Works great with torsion bar and coilover equipped cars.
Koni and Boge inserts will require the Koni/Boge adaptor kit sold seperately. Von and Bilstein inserts do not require the adaptor kit.
Please note:
• QuickChange Camber Plates can be fit to '66-'89 911/912/930 and 914 cars. May be used with Von, Bilstein, Koni, Boge, and other brand inserts.
• Koni and Boge strut inserts must use the Koni/Boge insert adaptor, available separately – Elephant Racing part number 2152203 (may also work with other brands).
• Von and Bilstein inserts must NOT USE the Koni/Boge insert adaptor. No adaptor is used with Von and Bilstein inserts.
• QuickChange Camber Plates may be used with coil over conversions. To use with coil over kits with Von or Bilstein inserts, you must use Elephant Racing Extended Length Upper Spring Perches for QuickChange camber plate part number 2280902. To use with coil over kits with other brands of inserts, use Elephant Racing Extended Length Upper Spring Perches part number 2280904.
• DO NOT install the strut-top dust covers (metal "cans" at the top of the strut). You may optionally install rubber bellows to provide dust protection, available separately.

De-Cambered Ball Joints
Easy Bolt-on To More Front Negative Camber
Need more camber? Elephant Racing's proprietary-design De-Cambered Ball Joints provide up to 3/4 degree additional negative camber per side. Track is widened up to 1/2 inch.
The ball joint stud is non-concentric with the housing, effectively lengthening the control arm and pushing the bottom of the strut (and tire) out resulting in added negative camber.
Construction includes a true spherical bearing monoball for low-friction, freedom of movement and zero deflection.
Fully weather-sealed, De-Cambered Ball Joints are a true bolt-in using factory ball joint hardware.

Porsche 964 C2 / C4 1989-94
The ideal swaybar is completely unloaded at static ride height. Stock drops links almost always preload the swaybar since the car doesn't sit perfectly level due to asymmetries such as driver weight. Our front and rear adjustable-length drop links for C4/C2 allow you to eliminate preload of the swaybar for maximum performance.
A preloaded swaybar shifts the weight carried by each of the tires, increasing grip on weighted tires at the expense of decreasing grip on un-weighted tires. This shifted weight/grip causes uneven handling in left and right turns, and premature brake lockup since the less-loaded tire locks up first. Preload can be completely eliminated by adjusting drop link length and swaybar performance optimized.

Our bushing replacement kit allows you to restore your original spring plates, without the high cost of complete replacement plates. Our product is modeled after the factory original bushings and similarly includes a spherical bearing encased in an outer elastomeric layer. The elastomeric layer provides noise and vibration isolation, similar to the OEM components.
Our bushing replacement kit includes fully sealed monoball cartridges featuring maintenance free PTFE linings that require no lubrication. The cartridges are encased in an elastomeric layer that is slightly firmer than stock to improve performance, reducing deflection under load while maintaining the noise isolation characteristics of the original rubber. Weather seals keep dirt out and extend product life.
