Ninemeister for Porsche
Ninemeister parts for Porsche models from Design911, combining specialist Porsche knowledge with real-world upgrade and maintenance experience
A Quick Look at Ninemeister
Ninemeister information on this page is based on details supplied by the manufacturer or distributor, plus any OE references provided with the parts.
Choosing the Right Fit for Your Porsche
Where Ninemeister is listed for Porsche, use the supplied model coverage and OE references to confirm suitability. Check details that commonly affect fitment such as model year, side or position, and connector type where relevant.
- Typical reasons people choose these parts include preventative maintenance on known weak points and building sharper, well-tested handling or performance packages rather than “cheap fixes”.
- Common triggers for work include oil leaks, cooling issues, tired suspension or drivetrain bushes, brake fade, and repeat failures from non-specialist repairs.
- Practical tip: diagnosis and parts choice are usually more accurate when a Porsche specialist is involved, especially on modified or higher-mileage cars.
- Before upgrades, consider supporting changes such as alignment, tyres, fluids, and cooling to keep the setup reliable.
Browse by Category
If you already know the area you are working on, start with the category and then filter by Porsche model. Where real-world symptoms and typical reasons to replace are provided, use them to keep the wording grounded.
Engine Rebuild Parts — Engine rebuild parts are typically replaced during a planned overhaul or when tests point to internal wear, such as loss of compression, high oil consumption, persistent leaks, abnormal noises, or contamination found in the oil. Many Porsche owners and specialists choose to renew chains, guides, bearings, seals, gaskets, and hardware together while the engine is apart to reduce the chance of repeat strip-downs and to restore long-term reliability.
- Before committing to major work, carry out compression and leak-down tests, borescope inspections, and careful oil/filter checks.
- “While you’re in there”, it is common to replace timing components, critical seals, and other hard-to-access wear items to future-proof the rebuild.
Turbo Chargers / Intercoolers & Parts — Turbochargers and intercooler components are changed when there is loss of boost, smoking under load, shaft play, or oil contamination in the intake system. On Porsche turbo models, keeping charge temperatures under control and pipework leak-free is key to consistent power and reliability, so owners often replace or upgrade these parts when chasing performance gains or resolving boost-related faults.
- Because boost leaks can feel similar to turbo wear, pressure testing the system is an important step before replacing major parts.
- It is often recommended to renew oil feed and return lines when fitting a new or rebuilt turbo to protect the investment.
Engine Tuning — Engine tuning work is usually carried out to improve drivability, throttle response, and fuel efficiency, or to match the calibration to hardware changes such as intake, exhaust, or forced induction upgrades. On Porsche engines, a sound mechanical base is essential; tuning is used to refine how the engine delivers its power, not to hide underlying issues like poor compression, unstable fuelling, or cooling problems.
- Tuning cannot fix mechanical faults, so checks such as compression or leak-down tests, sensor data review, and inspection for boost or vacuum leaks should come first.
- Reliability is maintained by pairing any increase in load or boost with suitable supporting modifications and conservative calibration.
Gearbox / Transmission — Gearbox and transmission parts are replaced when there are shifting problems, noises, leaks, or as part of a high-mileage refresh or performance upgrade. On Porsche models this can include clutches, synchros, bearings, mounts, linkages, differentials, or complete gearboxes, with the focus on selecting components matched to the specific transmission type and intended use.
- Not all driveline noise or poor shifting comes from the gearbox itself; clutch condition, mounts, linkage adjustment and correct oil are all worth checking first.
- Changing transmission oil to the correct specification is often a sensible early step when diagnosing minor shift quality issues.
Flywheel / Torque — Flywheels and torque converters are usually changed when there is judder, rattle, vibration, or evidence of heat damage, or alongside a major clutch or transmission service. On manual Porsche models, the condition and type of flywheel strongly influence drivability and noise levels, while on automatics and PDK-type systems the torque converter is central to smooth take-up and shift quality.
- Dual-mass flywheels with excessive play or rattle are generally replaced rather than resurfaced to avoid damaging a new clutch.
- Upgrading to a single-mass, lighter flywheel can sharpen response but typically increases drivetrain noise at idle and low rpm, something to consider for road use.

- Direct Plug-and-Play Replacement: Simple installation with no modifications required.
This uprated billet slave cylinder ensures consistent clutch engagement, better modulation, and reliable operation under high-load or high-temperature driving conditions.
Why Clutch Slave Cylinders Fail
Standard clutch slave cylinders often fail due to design
limitations, wear, or environmental exposure. Common causes include:
- Seal
Deterioration: Over time, hydraulic seals degrade, leading to fluid
leaks and loss of pressure.
- Corrosion:
Moisture contamination or fluid neglect can corrode internal components.
- Heat
Fatigue: Repeated high-temperature cycles can cause warping or
cracking in cast materials.
- Contaminated
Fluid: Dirt or debris in the hydraulic system accelerates internal
wear.
- Material Fatigue: Cast or composite housings are prone to cracking under high clutch-pressure loads.
When failure occurs, symptoms typically include clutch pedal softness, inconsistent engagement, or complete loss of hydraulic function — all of which can compromise drivability and safety.
Why It Should Be Replaced or Upgraded
Upgrading to the 9m G50 Billet Clutch Slave Cylinder
provides lasting performance advantages over conventional units:
- Improved Reliability: 7075 aluminium construction
resists flexing, cracking, and corrosion.
- Lighter Pedal Effort: Redesigned internal geometry provides a smoother
and lighter clutch action.

Catalyst information:
Replacing the restrictive OEM catalyst not only enhances power but also improves sound. By upgrading to our catted downpipes increasing flow while still effectively catalyzing exhaust gases. By allowing for better exhaust gas scavenging and reducing backpressure, these modifications can increase power output, improve turbo spool, and offer a more aggressive exhaust note.
Unlike the ineffective catalytic converters found in generally cheaper aftermarket options ours has been designed for superior performance.
Our high-performance catalytic solution.
Featuring Euro 6 standard purification coatings, our catalytic converters have a higher density of precious metal coatings compared to OEM units on the same surface area. This results in superior exhaust gas conversion performance, allowing for more efficient purification when replacing with a more performance-oriented high-flow Downpipe without releasing harsh, toxic fumes. In terms of design, the catalytic converter employs a three-spiral metal carrier structure that enhances the carrier's shock resistance and durability. This ensures that the catalyst unit remains stable under the continuous impact of pressure waves and pulses from high-horsepower engines.
- Effective operating temperature: 480°F–1470°F
- Short-term tolerance temperature threshold: 1650°F–1830°F
- Long-term tolerance temperature threshold: ≤1560°F Exposure to temperatures above 1470°F for extended periods will shorten the catalyst's lifespan. Main precious metal components and applications: Platinum (Pt) Characteristics: High catalytic activity, heat-resistant, corrosion-resistant. Applications: Oxidizes CO and HC (hydrocarbons). Reduces NOx. Advantages: Stable performance in both oxygen-rich and oxygen-poor environments. Palladium (Pd) Function: HC oxidation: More efficient at oxidizing unburned hydrocarbons (HC) compared to platinum. Advantages: When combined with platinum or other precious metals, it offers better conversion efficiency for unburned hydrocarbons (HC). Rhodium (Rh) Characteristics: Exceptional NOx reduction ability.
