Nordschleife
Nordschleife for Porsche
Nordschleife parts for Porsche at Design911 are typically chosen by drivers looking for fast-road and track-inspired setups, with a focus on consistency, heat management, and confidence under repeated hard use.
A Quick Look at Nordschleife
Nordschleife information on this page is based on details supplied by the manufacturer or distributor, plus any OE references provided with the parts.
Choosing the Right Fit for Your Porsche
Where Nordschleife is listed for Porsche, use the supplied model coverage and OE references to confirm suitability. Check details that commonly affect fitment such as model year, side or position on the vehicle, and connector or mounting type where relevant.
- Typical reasons people choose Nordschleife-style parts include improving braking consistency, managing heat, and making the car feel stable and predictable during fast-road or track driving.
- Many issues blamed on “hardware” are actually down to fluid choice, pad compound mismatch, alignment settings, or insufficient cooling and airflow.
- Common symptoms that may prompt upgrades include brake fade, tyre overheating, vague handling, oil temperature creep, and inconsistent performance over repeated laps or hard road use.
- Plan changes as a package where possible, as tyres, brakes, alignment, and fluids all work together in how your Porsche behaves.
- Expect some increase in noise or firmness from more track-focused parts, and measure results (temperatures, wear, pressures) so you can adjust methodically rather than guessing.
Browse by Category
If you already know the area you are working on, start with the category and then filter by Porsche model. Where real-world symptoms and typical reasons to replace are provided, use them to keep the wording grounded.
Steering Parts — Steering components affect precision, feedback, and safety. These parts are typically replaced to remove play, restore accurate response, and tailor how direct or comfortable your Porsche feels, whether for road or track-style use.
- After replacing steering parts, a proper alignment is essential, and it is often sensible to replace related components in pairs and have a specialist check for suspension bush wear that can mimic steering faults.
Steering Racks — The steering rack is central to directional control and steering feel. Replacement or upgrade is usually driven by internal wear, leaks, or excess play, with choices between original-style, remanufactured, or performance-focused options.
- Where a rack is changed, many workshops recommend new track rods if worn, and it is good practice to flush the system and refill with the correct fluid to protect the pump and seals.
Suspension & Axle — Suspension and axle parts control ride quality, grip, and stability. They are replaced to cure knocks, wandering, uneven tyre wear, and to restore the balanced handling and braking stability Porsche cars are known for.
- Suspension work often requires alignment afterwards; replacing parts in pairs and starting with a clear diagnosis of play and wear helps avoid chasing noises or handling issues.
Drop Links & Bushes REAR — Rear anti-roll bar links and bushes help control body roll and rear-end stability. Replacing tired components reduces knocking, improves composure in corners, and keeps the rear of the car feeling connected and predictable.
- It is common to change both sides together and to inspect anti-roll bar bushes and shock mounts at the same time, as several minor wear points can combine to create similar noises.
Suspension Upgrades — Suspension upgrades are used to fine-tune body control, roll stiffness, and response for your chosen use, from fast-road driving to track days. Brand and specification are usually selected based on desired ride height, firmness, and adjustability.
- Upgrades only deliver benefits when matched to the car and set up correctly, so plan for geometry and possibly corner-weighting, and decide in advance whether your priority is comfort, mixed use, or maximum response.

Description:
This repair kit is used to overhaul the plugs for the injectors. As a rule, the clips break off at the plugs after the years and the rubber grommet is cracked by its kinked position on the valve. As a result, moisture penetrates to the plug contacts and cause them to corrode. If you do not want to procure a completely new engine wiring harness right away, you can use this repair kit to replace the plug-in contacts in the original way.

Description:
The four-valve technology is one of the sensitive parts of these otherwise robust engines: A regular replacement of the chain and its sliding elements is essential to avoid major damage. Combined with the sealing kit for the valve cover, you will receive all the parts you need to carry out the repair professionally.
Note:
For many vehicles over the years for cost reasons, only the upper shoe and the chain was changed. But even the lower shoe enters and becomes porous. Therefore, better anticipate the risk and take a look under the valve cover.

The special screw for suspending the servo pump has become heavily rusted over the years and difficult to disassemble from the servo pump holders. For the overhaul of the servo pump, the use of new screws is recommended, especially since the key surface and the thread often do not survive the removal undamaged.
The screws are now black galvanized and therefore have better corrosion protection than the original. (Similar picture).
