Choosing the Right Fit for Your Porsche
Where Powerflex is listed for Porsche, use the supplied model coverage and OE references to confirm suitability. Check details that commonly affect fitment such as model year, side/position, and connector type where relevant.
- Powerflex polyurethane bushes are chosen when Porsche owners want tighter handling, sharper response, and longer-lasting bush material than ageing rubber. Real-world reasons include curing vague steering, reducing wheel hop, improving alignment stability, and refreshing suspension without replacing whole arms in some cases.
- Increased NVH (noise/vibration/harshness), squeaks if not lubricated correctly, and binding if installed improperly. Poor ride or uneven behaviour is often caused by fitting too-stiff bushes in the wrong locations, worn mounts elsewhere, or skipping alignment after changes.
- Choose compounds and locations carefully to balance response against comfort, especially on road-driven Porsche models.
- Use the supplied or approved lubricant on Powerflex bushes and torque fixings at normal ride height to minimise the risk of squeaks and binding.
- Target the worst wear points first rather than replacing every bush at once, and plan a full alignment check after suspension changes.
