T1
T1 for Porsche
T1 parts for Porsche models from Design911, allowing owners to choose straightforward replacement or upgrade components that are intended to fit and function without unnecessary complication where correctly specified
A Quick Look at T1
T1 information on this page is based on details supplied by the manufacturer or distributor, plus any OE references provided with the parts.
Choosing the Right Fit for Your Porsche
Where T1 is listed for Porsche, use the supplied model coverage and OE references to confirm suitability. Check details that commonly affect fitment such as model year, side/position, and connector type where relevant.
- Typical reasons to choose these parts include fixing known issues, refreshing worn components during maintenance, and selecting parts that provide a straightforward replacement or targeted improvement.
- Owners often replace parts to prevent premature wear, avoid repeat faults, and resolve fitment problems caused by small differences between Porsche model years and variants.
- Common issues across many components include fitment mismatches, faults returning when underlying causes are not diagnosed, and problems arising from reusing old fixings, seals, or gaskets.
- To reduce the chance of repeat issues, match part numbers where possible, replace consumables such as seals and bolts at the same time, and confirm that symptoms are not caused by upstream problems like mounts, wiring, or alignment.
- Before ordering or fitting, double-check model/year data, and where available cross-check OE references; this helps avoid compatibility issues even within the same Porsche model line.
- During installation, inspect wiring, connectors, and mounting hardware, and use good diagnostic practice so that new parts are fitted to a correctly diagnosed fault rather than just to a fault code.
Browse by Category
If you already know the area you are working on, start with the category and then filter by Porsche model. Where real-world symptoms and typical reasons to replace are provided, use them to keep the wording grounded.
Engine Electrical — Engine electrical parts are replaced when there are starting, charging, ignition, or sensor-related issues that affect drivability, such as intermittent no-start, misfires, rough running, poor charging, or warning lights; choosing suitable components helps restore reliable operation on Porsche models.
- Confirm electrical faults with testing rather than fault codes alone, checking battery condition, earth straps, and connector corrosion before replacing parts.
- Where possible, use known-quality components and verify power, ground, and signal integrity to avoid chasing repeat or intermittent issues.
Injectors — Injector components are typically changed when fuelling becomes uneven due to clogging, leakage, or poor spray pattern, with real-world triggers including rough idle, misfires that follow a cylinder, fuel smell, hard starting, or poor fuel economy on applicable Porsche engines.
- Consider professional cleaning and flow testing to confirm injector condition and identify any single-cylinder outliers before deciding on replacement.
- Aim for well-matched injectors and use diagnostic checks such as plug reading, balance tests, and fuel trim analysis to confirm the root cause of drivability complaints.
Engine Tuning — Engine tuning parts are chosen to improve drivability, throttle response, fuel economy, or to support hardware changes such as intake, exhaust, or forced induction, provided the underlying Porsche engine is mechanically healthy and free from unresolved faults.
- Before tuning, verify compression, leak-down, fueling health, and check for boost or vacuum leaks so that calibration changes are made on a sound mechanical base.
- Use tuning to refine behaviour rather than to mask underlying issues, and monitor temperatures and logging data to keep stress within safe limits.
Electronic Fuel Injection Throttle Kits — EFI throttle kits are typically installed when converting from carburettors to injection, modernising older engines, or building performance Porsche engines that benefit from more precise airflow and throttle control alongside suitable engine management.
- Plan for proper mapping and calibration, as these kits rely on correct ECU setup, sensor configuration, and fuel pressure control to deliver stable idle and clean response.
- During installation, pay close attention to wiring, grounds, and vacuum routing, as many drivability issues trace back to basic installation or configuration problems rather than the hardware itself.

The ID1300 is an all new injector, designed in partnership with Bosch Motorsport. This collaboration has given us the ability to design a high flow injector with characteristics specific to the needs of the motorsport tuner. The ID1300 was designed with alternative fuels in mind, and is the only performance injector available with all stainless internals. It is compatible with all known fuels, and will stand up to the corrosive nature of alcohol better than any injector on the market.
While the ID1300 was designed with an eye towards ethanol fueled engines, we have accounted for the occasional need to convert back to gasoline. The ID1300 has a minimum fuel mass compatible with gasoline use, and will provide exceptional idle and cruise behavior under these conditions. In addition to its multi-fuel capabilities, the compact body of the ID1300 allows fitment in 200+ applications, making it the most versatile injector in our lineup. The 1300 has continued to be refined and improved over the years, and the 1300-XDS is the latest and best version to date.
Base Specifications:
• Nominal Flow Rate – 1340cc/min @ 3.0 Bar (43.5 psi) Using Iso Octane at 52 Degrees C (125 Degrees F)
• Maximum Differential Fuel Pressure – 6.0 Bar (87.0 psi)
• Fuel Compatibility – Compatible With All Known Fuels – (Designed Specifically for Alternative Fuels)
• Electrical Connector – USCAR
Options Available
• Clips and pins - Connector kit consisting of the terminals, seals, and plastic housing
• Pigtails - Pre-assembled connectors with lead wires to be soldered
• US-EV1 plug and play - Direct plug in jumpers so you do not have to modify the stock harness

The ID1700-XDS was designed to fill the gap between the ID1300-XDS and the ID2600-XDS, and like both, it features corrosion resistant internals making it compatible with all known automotive fuels.
A unique magnetic circuit, resulting from a lengthy development program, makes the ID1700-XDS immune to voltage and pressure sensitivity problems that plague other high impedance high flow injectors. The ID1700-XDS excels at high pressures typical of current automotive systems, and will perform flawlessly in these applications.
Application Notes:
The ID1700-XDS was designed to be an all fuel compatible injector, capable of very high flow rates. As such, it will most often be used to deliver E85 to boosted engines, or occasionally, gasoline in extreme high horsepower applications. Neither of these applications requires extended linearity at low flow rates, and so this was given a proportionately lower priority during the design process.
The ID1700-XDS will deliver flawless stoichiometric idle and cruise mixtures on E85, but like the ID2600-XDS, should not be expected to do so on gasoline.
If you need flawless drivability on gasoline, the ID1300-XDS will provide this, and is capable of approximately 150hp per injector on E85.
• Nominal Flow Rate – 1725cc/min @ 3.0 Bar (43.5 psi) Using Iso-Octane at 52 Degrees C (125 Degrees F)
• Maximum Differential Fuel Pressure – 7.0 Bar (101.5 psi)
• Fuel Compatibility – Compatible with Methanol/Ethanol/All Known Hydrocarbon Fuels.
• Electrical Connector – USCAR
