AutoSport Car Show NEC 2009

The Display, entitled Evolution of the 911 was supported by Porsche Cars GB and Design 911 and is to include 25 very special 911s - the icon of performance motoring since 1963. Among them will be a rare (and expensive) 2.7 RS, a GT1, a GT2 and a GT3 RSR, together with 21 other fine cars showing the progression from the earliest 911s t the latest 911 incarnation in the 997 generation 2.

This will be a fascinating display and prove, beyond doubt, that all 911s are not the same.
In addition to the Evolution of the 911, Porsche Club GB will have the backing of Design911 in proving a club stand the envy of other clubs at the event. The area was backed by the bespoke Porsche Club Motorsport Race Centre and flow out into a Members Plaza including further notable Porsches, with racing cars and budget Porsches highly featured.
