The factory Bosch Motronic calibration leaves noticeable
performance untapped. OE Match software has been extensively developed to
eliminate the familiar flat spot below 4,000 rpm, allowing the engine to pull
harder from low RPM while significantly improving throttle response and
everyday drivability.

Every calibration is designed for 91 AKI (95 RON)
premium fuel as standard. If you regularly use 93 AKI (98 RON) fuel, an
optimised 98 RON calibration can be supplied—simply select your preferred fuel
grade when ordering.
Includes the Latest Lightweight Flywheel (LWF) Fix
If your 993 has been fitted with an RS lightweight flywheel,
this software includes the latest LWF Fix to eliminate the stalling and
RPM dip often associated with lightweight flywheel conversions.
The updated programming:

The software is equally suitable for vehicles retaining the
factory flywheel, and existing customers can update older OE Match chips to the
latest LWF coding.
Optional Immobiliser / Driveblock Delete
This chip can also be supplied with the Immobiliser /
Driveblock function disabled for vehicles originally equipped with the
Porsche Driveblock system.
Disabling the Driveblock removes the need to deactivate the
immobiliser with the key fob every time the vehicle is started, returning the
car to the operating style of factory non-Driveblock models.
To complete the conversion, jumper relay 964.610.184.00
must be installed in relay position R61, exactly as fitted by Porsche on
non-Driveblock vehicles.
Ordering Information
Porsche fitted six different Bosch Motronic DMEs to
1994-1995 Non-Varioram 993 models.
Before ordering, remove the DME unit from beneath the left-hand
front seat and confirm the Bosch or Porsche part number printed on the
Motronic label to ensure the correct chip is supplied.
