What This Product Does

This conversion uses large-volume 996 GT3-style intake manifolds as the basis of an electronic throttle intake system for classic air-cooled Porsche engines. Adapt Motorsport offers purpose-designed cast-aluminium manifolds that account for the shorter cylinder spacing of these engines, together with the fuel delivery, vacuum and resonance-flap components required to form the intake assembly.

• Controls intake airflow through a Bosch 82mm electronic throttle body
• Adapts GT3-style intake hardware to compatible two-bolt turbo cylinder heads
• Provides fuel rails and spacers for long, medium or short EV14-style injectors
• Operates the resonance flap through a vacuum canister, solenoid and check valve
• Provides vacuum connections for the brake booster, idle-air bypass and other systems
• Measures intake temperature and manifold pressure using a Bosch T-MAP sensor
