Air deflector alternator. 
The air deflector serves as an air baffle and provides optimal cooling of the cylinders. Bolts to the back of the alternator.

Mounted on the rear of the alternator or alternator hub, bolting into or adjacent to the fan housing / ventilation shroud.

What it does:
• Guides airflow from the cooling fan over the alternator and engine to maintain proper cooling
• Extends or positions the alternator hub correctly so pulleys are aligned and belt tension is correct
• Helps ensure consistent air circulation in the engine cooling system

Over time, deflectors or hub extensions can become warped, cracked, or corroded, compromising airflow and misaligning pulleys.
