Lightweight 245 mm carbon fibre engine cooling fan for the Porsche 911 from 1978–89, featuring the classic 11-blade design used on air-cooled Porsche flat-six engines.

Manufactured from CFRP – Carbon Fibre Reinforced Plastic, this performance-focused replacement offers a substantial reduction in rotating mass compared with a conventional metal cooling fan while retaining the familiar 245 mm, 11-blade configuration.

At approximately 470 grams, the carbon fibre impeller is particularly suited to lightweight road cars, restomods, competition builds and performance-focused Porsche 911 projects where reducing unnecessary rotating mass is desirable.

The exposed carbon fibre construction also provides a distinctive motorsport-inspired appearance within the engine bay.

Lightweight CFRP Construction
CFRP combines carbon fibre reinforcement with a high-strength composite resin structure. This allows the fan to achieve a very low overall mass while retaining the rigidity required for a high-speed rotating engine component.
