Positioned between the turbocharger and intake manifold, the intercooler cools compressed air before it enters the engine, ensuring maximum efficiency and reliable power delivery.

What This Product Does:
The intercooler cools compressed (charged) air coming from the turbochargers before it enters the engine’s intake manifold. Cooler air is denser, allowing more oxygen per volume for combustion, which improves power and efficiency.

Symptoms Of A Failing Or Faulty Intercooler:

Reduced engine power, especially under boost. If air is coming in hot or leaking, the engine won’t make the expected output.
Hissing or whistling noises during acceleration due to air leaks in the intercooler or its piping.
Engine Light or other fault codes that may relate to intake air temperature, boost pressure, or turbocharger issues.
Higher intake air temperatures, heat soak reduces cooling efficiency.
Possibly poor fuel economy or less throttle response.
