Engine cylinder head exhaust valve kit. Pre varioram engine cars
The OE Match exhaust valve set includes six precision-engineered exhaust valves designed for Porsche 911 (993) Carrera models with early 3.6L engines. These valves are installed in the cylinder heads and regulate the release of exhaust gases from the combustion chambers into the exhaust system.
SET OF 6 exhaust valves

Fits:

Porsche 993 C2 / C4 3.6L 1993 - 1995
 * with Engine codes:  M64.05 / M64.06 / M64.07 / M64.08

Diagram Ref No 10

Exhaust valves are key components of the engine valve train. Each valve sits within the cylinder head and opens when actuated by the camshaft to allow combustion gases to exit the cylinder.

This OE Match set provides six valves, which corresponds to the number of exhaust valves used in the flat-six Porsche 993 engine. These valves are manufactured to meet OEM-level standards and feature the correct valve head size and stem dimensions required for the Porsche M64 engine family.

The set is ideal for cylinder head refurbishment, engine rebuilds or valve train servicing, ensuring consistent performance across all cylinders.

The exhaust valves open during the exhaust phase of the combustion cycle to release burnt gases from the cylinder. They then close tightly to seal the combustion chamber during the compression and power strokes.

Correctly functioning valves are essential for maintaining engine compression, efficient combustion and overall engine performance.

Exhaust valves operate under extremely high temperatures and continuous mechanical stress. Over time they may wear, warp or suffer from carbon buildup, which can lead to compression loss, poor engine performance or valve train noise. Replacing worn valves during engine service or rebuild ensures proper combustion sealing and reliable engine operation.

Consider replacing the exhaust valve if you notice:
•  Loss of compression or engine power
  Excessive valve train noise
  Burnt or worn valve surfaces
  During cylinder head rebuild or engine overhaul
