The Fabspeed Center Muffler Bypass X-Pipe is a high-performance exhaust upgrade developed specifically for the Porsche 911 991.2 GT2 RS from 2018 onward, including Weissach and Manthey MR-equipped cars.
Fits:
- Porsche 991.2 GT2 RS 3.8L PDK (700 bhp) 2018-19
Designed to replace the factory titanium centre muffler, the system provides a freer-flowing exhaust path while retaining the vehicle's original catalytic converters.
At the centre of the system is Fabspeed's investment-cast X-pipe. The crossover allows exhaust gases from the two sides of the engine to merge through a carefully shaped central opening, helping reduce restriction, balance exhaust flow and produce a stronger, more exotic exhaust note.
The system is manufactured from 14–16 gauge T304 stainless steel with larger-diameter CNC mandrel-bent tubing. It provides a durable alternative to the original titanium centre muffler while increasing exhaust sound and supporting improved throttle response and performance.
Fabspeed currently lists a +20 HP performance gain for this product. Actual gains can vary according to vehicle condition, fuel, environmental conditions and other modifications.
