Constructed from genuine carbon fibre and stainless steel depending on the selected finish, the tips are designed to withstand exhaust heat, moisture and everyday road use while providing a premium visual upgrade.

What This Product Does:
Exhaust tips form the final visible outlet of the exhaust system.

Their primary functions are to direct exhaust gases away from the vehicle and provide a finished appearance where the exhaust exits the rear bumper.

The Fabspeed Deluxe Dual Style Tips are designed to:

• Replace the smaller factory PSE exhaust tips
• Provide larger 4-inch outlets
• Give the Carrera a more aggressive rear appearance
• Maintain compatibility with Porsche Sport Exhaust
• Restore appearance where original tips are scratched or damaged
• Maintain correct exhaust outlet positioning
• Offer a straightforward bolt-on styling upgrade

These tips are primarily an appearance upgrade and should not be considered a major engine-performance modification.

Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:
Factory exhaust tips are continuously exposed to heat, exhaust deposits, condensation, road contamination and impact from debris.

Common signs of deterioration include:

• Heavy surface staining
• Permanent discoloration
• Pitting or corrosion
• Scratches and cosmetic damage
• Dents from impact
• Excessive soot build-up
• Loose mounting hardware
• Tip movement when touched
• Rattling while driving
• Poor alignment within the bumper opening
• Uneven left-to-right positioning
• Cracks around mounting points
• Damage to welded joints
• Contact with surrounding bumper trim
• Peeling or deterioration of surface finishes

Some discoloration and soot accumulation are normal on exhaust outlets and do not necessarily indicate failure.

Why Replacement Matters:
In many cases, exhaust-tip replacement is primarily cosmetic.

Damaged, faded or heavily scratched tips can significantly affect the appearance of the rear of the vehicle, particularly on a performance model where the exhaust outlets are prominent styling features.

Replacement becomes more important if the tip or mounting arrangement is physically damaged.

• A loose or misaligned exhaust tip can:
• Produce rattling noises
• Vibrate against surrounding components
• Contact the bumper or rear trim
• Cause heat marks or abrasion
• Move further out of position over time
• Potentially loosen from its mounting

Replacing damaged tips helps restore correct alignment and secure mounting while refreshing the vehicle's appearance.
