The Fabspeed Porsche 911 Turbo 930 Supercup Race Exhaust System is a lightweight, high-flow performance exhaust developed for the classic Porsche 911 Turbo / 930.
NOTE: Dual Outlet Requires bumper cutout for second tip outlet on dual outlet configuration. A SIMPLE secondary hole matching outlet is made for a DUAL outlet system.
Fits:
- Porsche 911 1976-1977 3.0L Turbo (930)
- Porsche 911 1978-1989 3.3L Turbo (930)
Designed to replace the restrictive original rear exhaust with a substantially freer-flowing system, the Supercup Race Exhaust is aimed at enthusiasts seeking increased exhaust flow, reduced rear-end weight and a much more aggressive turbocharged flat-six sound.
Constructed from 3.0-inch / 76.5 mm CNC mandrel-bent 14–16 gauge T304 stainless-steel tubing, the system combines a high-flow resonated muffler design with a dual-outlet configurations and multiple exhaust-tip options.
Fabspeed lists manufacturer-reported gains of +22 HP and +16 lb-ft, together with an approximately 35 lb weight reduction. Actual performance will vary according to vehicle condition, specification, turbocharger, supporting modifications and testing conditions.
What This Product Does:
The exhaust system carries combustion gases away from the turbocharger and engine.
Any unnecessary restriction downstream of the turbo can increase exhaust backpressure and make it more difficult for gases to leave the system efficiently.
The Fabspeed Supercup Race Exhaust replaces the original rear exhaust arrangement with larger-diameter, freer-flowing pipework and a performance-oriented resonated muffler.
The system is designed to:
- Improve exhaust-gas flow
- Reduce exhaust restriction
- Reduce exhaust backpressure
- Improve turbocharged engine breathing
- Increase performance potential
- Improve throttle and turbo response
- Reduce rear-end weight
- Produce a significantly louder exhaust note
- Enhance classic turbocharged flat-six character
Designed For Stock And K27 Turbo Applications:
- The Supercup system is designed to bolt to the factory turbo arrangement and is also suitable for compatible K27 turbo-equipped 911 Turbo / 930 applications.
- This makes it useful for both relatively standard vehicles and appropriately configured modified 930s.
- Existing turbocharger and exhaust configuration should always be confirmed before ordering.
Aggressive Supercup Exhaust Sound:
The Supercup Race Exhaust is specifically designed for drivers seeking a considerably more aggressive exhaust note.
Compared with the original system, expect:
- Significantly increased exhaust volume
- Deeper turbocharged flat-six tone
- More noticeable turbo sound
- Stronger exhaust presence under acceleration
- More pronounced high-RPM character
- Motorsport-inspired exhaust sound
This is not intended to reproduce the quiet, restrained character of the factory exhaust.
Buyers should therefore consider their intended use and acceptable noise level before choosing a Supercup-style system.
Why Upgrading Matters:
The original exhaust does not need to have failed before fitting the Supercup system.
This product is primarily a performance, sound and weight-reduction upgrade.
Reasons for upgrading include:
- High-flow 3.0-inch / 76.5 mm tubing
- Reduced exhaust restriction
- Reduced downstream backpressure
- Increased performance potential
- Manufacturer-reported +22 HP
- Manufacturer-reported +16 lb-ft
- Approx. 35 lb weight reduction
- Aggressive turbocharged flat-six sound
- Lightweight construction
- T304 stainless steel
- CNC mandrel-bent tubing
- Dual-outlet configurations
- Multiple exhaust-tip options
- Compatibility with applicable stock and K27 turbo configurations
- Direct bolt-on design in the standard single-outlet configuration
