The RENNSPORT RACE seat is one of our most popular selling seats. It is very similar to a fixed bucket seat designed by Recaro and used in the late 1960's and early 1970's in racing cars such as the Porsche 911R, 2.7RS and 2.8RSR. It especially suits the legendary 1973 RS and is a safer alternative to the fibreglass original which was weakened due to having to have a reclining seat back to homologate it for road use. It has a further advantage in that it is very light, less than 7 kilos even though it has a strong tubular frame.
