• Kit Contents: Collapsible oil tube(s), required seals, O-rings/circlip for sealing - sold per tube, 4 required per engine per manufacturer’s recommendation.

• Recommended Use: Replacement during engine rebuilds, oil system refurbishment, or whenever original oil return lines show signs of age - cracking, leaks, oil seepage or pressure loss.

Collapsible oil tube kit:
•  Provides a sealed, flexible return path for engine oil from the heads/galley back to the sump or oil tank.
•  Allows for thermal expansion, engine movement, and vibration, reducing stress on hard oil lines and preventing fractures or leaks.
•  Maintains correct oil circulation and pressure, ensuring effective lubrication and cooling of the engine even under load or temperature variation.
•  Replaces brittle, corroded, cracked or otherwise degraded original tubes - restoring reliable oil return and system integrity.

Original rigid or old oil return tubes often suffer from material fatigue, hardening, cracking, or corrosion after many years and thermal cycles. A failing oil return tube can lead to:
•  Oil leaks - risking oil starvation, contamination or engine damage
•  Reduced oil return flow - causing poor lubrication, overheating or premature engine wear
•  Pressure variances - resulting in oil pressure instability or sump starvation under load
•  Safety and reliability issues - a failing return path can lead to catastrophic engine damage.

Replacing with a correctly spec’d  collapsible tube ensures proper oil circulation, reliable return flow, leak-free sealing, and long-term engine reliability - essential for preserving performance and longevity on 911 / 964 / 993 engines (and compatible layouts).

Constructed to replicate the original factory design, this non-collapsible oil tube provides a secure and dependable oil passage capable of withstanding the high temperatures, pressures and vibration associated with normal engine operation. It is an essential component for maintaining the health and longevity of the engine's lubrication system.

What This Product Does:

• Transfers engine oil between lubrication system components.
• Maintains consistent oil flow and oil pressure.
• Supports lubrication of critical engine parts.
• Assists with engine cooling through oil circulation.
• Helps ensure efficient operation of the lubrication system.
• Provides a secure, leak-resistant oil passage.
• Supports long-term engine reliability and performance.

Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:

• Visible engine oil leaks.
• Oil drips beneath the vehicle.
• Low engine oil level between services.
• Oil residue around oil line connections.
• Reduced engine oil pressure.
• Oil pressure warning light illumination.
• Burning oil smell from oil contacting hot engine components.
• Corrosion, cracking or physical damage to the oil tube.
• Signs of oil seepage at connection points.

Why Replacement Matters:

• Engine oil tubes operate in demanding conditions and are continually exposed to heat, pressure fluctuations, vibration and environmental contaminants. Over time, corrosion, fatigue, physical damage or deteriorated sealing surfaces can lead to leaks and reduced lubrication system efficiency.
• A damaged oil tube can result in oil loss, reduced oil pressure and insufficient lubrication of critical engine components. If left unresolved, oil leaks can contribute to accelerated engine wear, overheating and potentially severe engine damage. Even minor leaks can worsen over time and create reliability and maintenance concerns.
• Replacing a worn or damaged oil tube restores proper oil circulation and helps maintain the integrity of the engine lubrication system. An OE Match replacement provides factory-style fitment, dependable performance and long-term durability, ensuring reliable oil delivery and continued protection for your Porsche engine.
