The IPD Cayenne Plenum provides power by means of a superior design that increases air speed, boost response and performance. This is achieved with larger inlets and better diversion areas. The cast aluminum construction can also withstand higher pressures and heat levels. The factory plastic intake is very prone to cracking, especially with Cayenne Turbos producing higher boost levels.
The improved design of the IPD Cayenne Turbo Plenum installs easily and delivers additional horsepower that will make your Cayenne Turbo even more menacing.
The superior design of the IPD Cayenne Turbo S plenum not only increases power but also improves boost response creating a longer, stronger, more linear and of course more pleasurable power curve.
The 958 Cayenne Turbo utilizes the factory throttle body and hardware making installation quick and easy although IPD strongly recommends a qualified Porsche technician perform any Plenum installs.

In fuel injected engines, the throttle body is the part of the air intake system that controls the amount of air flowing into the engine, in response to driver accelerator pedal input in the main. The throttle body is usually located between the air filter box and the intake manifold, and it is usually attached to, or near, the mass airflow sensor.
The largest piece inside the throttle body is the throttle plate, which is a butterfly valve that regulates the airflow. Have a larger diameter throttle body produces more air flow with equals more power. The upgrades should be used in conjunction with the competition plenums.
