Diagram Ref No 13.

The A/C condenser’s primary role is to release heat absorbed by the refrigerant during the air conditioning cycle. Hot, high-pressure refrigerant gas from the compressor passes through the condenser’s cooling fins where it dissipates heat to ambient air, condensing into a liquid before continuing through the A/C system. This process is critical for effective cabin cooling.

Function:
Heat Dissipation: Converts hot refrigerant gas into a liquid by expelling heat into the surrounding air.
Air Conditioning Efficiency: Helps maintain optimal refrigeration cycle efficiency, contributing to strong cabin cooling performance.
Durable Construction: Often constructed from aluminium with brazed cooling fins to provide lightweight yet durable heat-exchange performance.

A faulty A/C condenser significantly reduces the effectiveness of your air conditioning system. Leaks, internal blockages, or bent fins caused by debris can allow refrigerant to escape and reduce heat transfer efficiency. Replacing the condenser restores proper refrigerant flow and cooling performance, ensuring your cabin stays cool and your A/C system operates reliably.

Replace this condenser if you notice any of the following:
Air conditioning blows warm or weak air
•  Visible damage to fins or core (bent or crushed)
•  Refrigerant leaks or hissing sounds from the A/C condenser
•  Frequent A/C system pressure drops
•  Afterfront-end damage that impacts the condenser area
