The purpose of this radiator cooling fan is to draw air through the radiator and air conditioning condenser when the vehicle's speed is low - for example, when idling or in traffic - helping maintain the proper coolant and cooling system temperature. This keeps the engine cool and the air conditioning system operating efficiently.

As cooling fans age, their motors and bearings can wear out, their brushes may degrade, or blade balance may shift.
