The RENNSPORT RALLY R seat is a wide base seat very similar to a fixed bucket seat designed by Recaro and used in the late 1960's and early 1970's in racing cars such as the Porsche 911R, 2.7RS and 2.8RSR. It especially suits the legendary 1973 RS and is a safer alternative to the fibreglass original which was weakend due to having to have a reclining seat back to homolgate it for road use. It has a further advantage in that it is very light, less than 7 kilos even though it has a strong tubular frame.
