• Clean/sand (with sandpaper) the tube (inner part), 

• Lightly lubricate the rubber (acid-free lubricant), 
• Ensure the correct installation direction,
• Press against the outer contact surface during installation (only onto the aluminum housing),
• A high installation force will be required (press in with hydraulics)
