Alternator Pulley.

Mounted to the alternator shaft, the pulley allows the auxiliary drive belt to transfer rotational power from the engine to the alternator. As the engine runs, the pulley rotates the alternator so it can generate electrical power for the vehicle and maintain battery charge.

The pulley must remain correctly aligned with the auxiliary belt and surrounding drive components. Wear, physical damage, corrosion or incorrect alignment can cause belt noise, vibration and reduced drive efficiency, potentially affecting alternator performance and other components within the auxiliary belt system.
