•  Position: Front axle — inner connection between steering rack and track rod / tie rod end

• Function: Transfers steering rack movement into lateral wheel motion;  Maintains front-end steering geometry and alignment;  Absorbs steering loads while allowing articulation through the joint.

Because the inner joint experiences constant load, steering motion and exposure to road conditions, its wear can lead to looseness or excessive play. A worn or failing joint can cause sloppy steering, uneven tyre wear, loss of alignment, wandering or imprecise handling - which not only affects driving confidence but also safety.
