What This Product Does:

  • The top mount (upper mount) of the shock/strut assembly is critical: it secures the top of the damper to the vehicle’s body/strut tower, supports the spring/damper load, and ensures correct alignment and isolation of vibration or noise.
  • Over time, mounts/washers/nuts can corrode, loosen, rubber can deteriorate (if included), or tolerances may degrade, leading to movement, noise, vibration or alignment issues.
