Rennline Rear Camber Control Arm. Two required per car. PRICE IS EACH

Fits:
Porsche 993
Motorsport Product that replaces the original Porsche part No. 99333104700 or 99333104702, 99333104703 Top Front Control Arm (Rear suspension)

If you're serious about how your 993, 996, 997, Cayman, or Boxster handles, you should upgrade the rear suspension with adjustable control arm links. There are two major drawbacks to the factory links: 1) You can't lower your car and maintain proper suspension geometry. The factory links create too much toe-in, which cannot be adjusted out, creating handling problems and excessive tire wear. 2) The factory links have rubber bushings, which make handling imprecise, especially in performance driving when suspension loads are highest.

Rennline adjustable control arm links solve both these problems. Manufactured from 6061 aluminum and feature a turnbuckle design that allows each arm to be lengthened or shortened as needed to restore proper suspension geometry on a lowered Porsche. The FK Teflon-lined rod end bearings ensure precision handling and lock in your car's alignment settings, ensuring predictable cornering under all conditions.

Motorsport Product that replaces the original Porsche part No. 993331043, or 99333104300, Lower Rear Control Arm.

If you're serious about how your 993, 996, 997, Cayman, or Boxster handles, you should upgrade the rear suspension with adjustable control arm links. There are two major drawbacks to the factory links: 1) You can't lower your car and maintain proper suspension geometry. Unlike the competitors' product, Rennline arms come with eccentric locks and new hardware so you can completely eliminate the factory setup, which is known to go out of adjustment under hard driving and ruin your car's alignment.

Split bushing removal tool. 1 req'd per lifetime.

elephantracing

Fits:
Porsche 911 / 912 / 930 1965-89
Porsche 964 / 993 1989-98
Porsche 944 / 968 / 924 1976-95 w/ aluminium control arms

Easily removes the following bushings:
• 911 / 930 / 912 trailing arm bushing
• 964 / 993 front lower control arm rear bushing
• 944 front lower control arm front bushing (aluminium arms)

It used to be a difficult task

This clever tool is a real time saver that makes easy work of removing split bushings. Doing the job with the arms still on the car for 911, 964, and 993 saves time and labor.

Split bushings are actually two separate bushings, each pressed in from opposite sides of the arm. Removing them requires driving them out from the parting line where they meet, in the center of the arm. This has traditionally been a difficult job that requires removing the arm and fumbling with a punch to try and drive out the bushings from the center.

Easy & quick
This tool makes it easy to engage the parting line and drive out the bushing. It is so easy that the job can be performed without removing the arm from the 911, 964, and 993.

Pro Mechanics and DIY'ers alike will appreciate the time saving this tool provides.

Combine with bushing installation tools part #2020904 to complete the job.

Street rear track rod bushings.
Sold individually, 8 Required if you are changing all the bushes

Fits:
Porsche 993 1995 - 1998 (all) REAR

Street rear track rod bushings will bring back the OEM feel in your 911 that may have been lost due to worn out bushings. Track Rods are one of the most critical pieces of a 993 rear suspension as these rods locate the rear spindle assembly. This means a worn bushing can not only cause an even twitchier rear end, but they can negatively affect camber and caster changes through the suspension's range of motion.

About Control Arms Rear

Rear Control Arms (Coffin Arms) – Stability, Alignment and Rear-End Control

Rear control arms, commonly referred to as coffin arms, are critical suspension components responsible for controlling rear wheel alignment, stability and handling balance. Mounted between the rear hub and chassis, these arms manage camber and toe movement as the suspension compresses and extends, directly affecting traction, tyre wear and overall vehicle confidence.

At Design911, we supply OE replacement and performance rear coffin arms from trusted suspension manufacturers. Whether you are addressing worn factory components or upgrading for fast-road and track use, rear control arms play a vital role in maintaining predictable handling and restoring proper suspension geometry.

What Do Rear Control Arms (Coffin Arms) Do?

Rear control arms locate the rear wheels and guide their movement through suspension travel. Their primary functions include:

  • Maintaining correct rear wheel camber and toe
  • Providing rear-end stability under acceleration and cornering
  • Supporting predictable handling balance
  • Reducing unwanted suspension flex

Because the rear suspension governs traction and stability, worn or flexing coffin arms can significantly affect handling feel and tyre life.

Why Upgrade or Replace Rear Coffin Arms?

Upgrading or replacing rear control arms offers:

  • Restored rear suspension geometry and alignment accuracy
  • Improved traction and stability during cornering
  • Reduced uneven tyre wear
  • Better feedback and control during spirited driving

Performance rear control arms may feature stronger materials, uprated bushes or adjustable geometry, allowing fine-tuning of rear suspension setup for performance driving or track use.

When Should You Replace Rear Control Arms?

Rear coffin arms should be replaced or upgraded when:

  • Suspension bushes are cracked, worn or noisy
  • Rear alignment cannot be set correctly
  • Handling feels unstable or unpredictable
  • Uneven rear tyre wear is present
  • Performing a suspension refresh or performance upgrade

Replacing worn rear control arms helps restore factory handling characteristics and improves overall driving confidence.

At Design911, our rear control arms meet OE or performance standards, supporting both professional servicing and enthusiast upgrades.
