Carbon
Fiber AERO DISC EVO set for Porsche 911 GT3 (992.2) - Aluminium wheels
Sold as a pair
Set of lightweight carbon fiber rear wheel covers for improved downforce.
Fits:
- Porsche 992.2 GT3 2025>>
Aero discs play a crucial role in streamlining the airflow around the rear wheels, preventing turbulence that can adversely affect the efficiency of the rear wing.
Carbon fiber Aero discs are made with pre-preg carbon fiber, cured in autoclave. The set is fully reversible and requires no cutting or modifying of any original parts. It supports an OEM+ look, with stunning carbon fiber appearance in a variety of finishes, all providing great UV protection.
It
is compatible with stock 992.2 GT3 - ALU wheels.
Choose between a matte and gloss carbon
fiber finish. Decals are offered in 5 basic colors:
Black,
Silver, Gold and White or you can opt for a completely bespoke
color. Please write the desired color in the Cart comment
section.
The installation process of the Aero discs is straightforward and can be done by any car enthusiast. It comes with detailed instructions to ensure a smooth and hassle-free installation.
Each Aero Disc assembly consists of several components: the visible carbon fiber disc on the wheel face and the hidden mounting mechanism located between the aero disc and the center-lock nut.
To install the Aero Disc assembly:
1. Secure the hub and center-lock together
using the provided screw and washer.
2. Install the custom wheel cap to complete the assembly.
What Rear Wheel Aero Discs Do
At high speeds, open-spoke wheels generate significant turbulence, drag, and inconsistent airflow. Aero discs eliminate this instability by creating a smooth, flat aerodynamic surface.
Their Key Functions Include:
Reducing drag by smoothing turbulent wheel airflow Enhancing high-speed stability, especially during long straights Improving airflow efficiency toward the rear diffuser Supporting more consistent downforce balance Reducing lateral aerodynamic disturbances in cornering Adding a distinctive carbon-fibre motorsport appearance
The Porsche 992.2 GT3, one of the most aero-intensive 911s ever built, benefits significantly from this added stability.
Why You Should Fit Aero Disc EVO to the 992.2 GT3
Even with Porsche’s exceptional aerodynamic development, the wheels remain a major source of drag. Aero discs directly address this weakness.

Rear wheel aero discs are one of those rare upgrades that combine pure motorsport function with unmistakable visual drama. Originally developed for endurance racing and high-speed competition, their purpose is simple: tame the turbulent airflow created by open-spoke wheels and transform it into something stable, predictable and fast. For performance enthusiasts, they represent a perfect fusion of engineering intelligence and bold design.
As air flows around a moving vehicle, the rear wheels generate a chaotic vortex—drag, lift, and instability that the rest of the aero package must work overtime to correct. Aero discs solve this by creating a smooth, uninterrupted surface, allowing air to slip around the wheels instead of being trapped inside. The difference is immediate: reduced drag, improved efficiency, and greater stability at speed. On fast straights, the car feels more planted. Under heavy braking, the rear end stays calmer. Through long sweeping corners, the airflow remains controlled and balanced.
Modern aero discs take this motorsport principle and refine it for road and track use. Crafted from lightweight carbon fibre, they’re designed to be both functional and beautiful. The sculpted carbon weaves sealed beneath matte or gloss finishes give the car a purposeful, track-prepared aesthetic—instantly recognisable and undeniably striking. They add the kind of visual energy that signals seriousness: this is a machine engineered for speed.
Beyond the performance, aero discs transform the character of the car. They give it the look of a prototype racer or GT endurance car—sleek, purposeful and aerodynamically honed. For drivers who appreciate the fine details of performance engineering, they’re more than just wheel covers; they’re a statement of intent. A subtle nod to the racing world, designed to enhance the very dynamics that define a true driver’s car.
Installation is typically reversible and requires no permanent modification, making aero discs a thoughtful upgrade rather than an intrusive one. Whether enhancing a modern supercar, an electric performance platform or a track-day special, rear wheel aero discs bring measurable aerodynamic gains and a distinctive motorsport presence that elevates both the performance and personality of the vehicle.
Rear wheel aero discs aren’t just for those chasing lap times—they’re for enthusiasts who understand that every detail matters. Every ounce of stability, every moment of composure at speed, every piece of design that enhances the car’s connection to motorsport heritage. They are a small component with a significant impact, bridging the gap between engineering and emotion in a way that only true performance parts can
