For exhaust port studs on 911, Boxster, 996/997 or GT3 heads where the threads have been pulled, or to recover from an already improper repair, we have developed this Time-Sert(tm) kit so you may use our SR065, SR067, SR068 or SR069 tools to insert a Time-Sert and save an otherwise ruined head. In addition to the standard Time-Sert(tm) parts (short P drill, counter-bore, tap, insert tool, and 5 short inserts), our kit also includes a full length P drill, two drill jigs/bushings to guide the P drill and tap in our SR065, SR067, or SR068 fixtures, 5 full length inserts, and 5 studs.

Stomski Racing SR024 Through bolt o-ring installer with sleeve for Porsche 911

Based on the factory P9511 tool, STOMSKI RACING's version of this tool incorporates a brass cap and a double-ended stainless steel sleeve to install the o-rings on the crankcase through-bolts of the 3.6 and later cases (but possibly can be used on some other 911 engines). By using the included brass cap to protect the delicate o-ring from getting cut on the threads of the bolt, you then use the "thin" end of the sleeve to slide the o-ring over the brass cap onto the shank of the through-bolt. Once the o-ring is clear of the threads, remove the SR024 brass cap and flip the SR024 stainless steel sleeve over and use the blunted end to securely and gently seat the o-ring in the recess on the 3.6 case.

You no longer need to fight or snake a flexible rubber hose blindly through the valve cover and into the cylinder head to hook up a compression or leak down gauge on the 911 engines (or other engines with remote spark plugs). Simply insert this unique tool into the spark plug hole of the cylinder head and attach your gauge. Precisely machined from high quality stainless steel or hard-coated aluminum.
