About Kits

Kits for Porsche

Design911 offers an extensive selection of package deals for Porsche parts, providing an ideal solution for Porsche enthusiasts looking to upgrade, maintain, or personalise their vehicles. These packages are thoughtfully curated to include complementary components, helping with compatibility and overall cost-effectiveness.

A Quick Look at Kits

Kits information on this page is based on details supplied by the manufacturer or distributor, plus any OE references provided with the parts.

Choosing the Right Fit for Your Porsche

Where Kits are listed for Porsche, use the supplied model coverage and OE references to confirm suitability. Check details that commonly affect fitment such as model year, axle or side, and any option codes or connector types where relevant.

  • Typical reasons people choose kits include wanting all the right Porsche parts in one order, reducing the risk of missing seals, clips, or one-time-use fixings, and saving workshop time.
  • Kits help ensure matched components (for example, brake refresh kits, service kits, or suspension refresh kits) so parts work together as intended.
  • Common real-world triggers include repeated failures because a small supporting part was not replaced, mixed part revisions, or mismatched specification between components.
  • If problems occur, they are often traced to incorrect vehicle selection, old core components not addressed, or installation shortcuts rather than the kit itself.
  • Before you start work, compare the kit contents with the Porsche PET diagram and your job list so you know exactly what is included and what may still be needed.
  • Always confirm whether kits are vehicle-specific, and check if bolts, clips, fluids, and other one-time-use hardware are included or need to be added separately.

Browse by Category

If you already know the area you are working on, start with the category and then filter by Porsche model. Where real-world symptoms and typical reasons to replace are provided, use them to keep the wording grounded.

Brakes — Brake components are renewed to restore stopping performance, address wear or upgrade a Porsche for fast road or track use. Common symptoms include vibration under braking, increased stopping distances, squealing, pulling to one side, warning lights and visible wear to discs and pads.

  • Check whether new fitting kits and wear sensors are included or should be added separately.
  • Confirm if parts are OE-equivalent replacements or higher-friction performance upgrades before ordering.

Brake Pads Packages — Brake pad packages group matched front and rear sets, making it easier to renew all pads at once for consistent feel and balance across the axle. Worn pads can cause squealing, low pedal feel, longer stopping distances and may score discs if run down to the backing plates.

  • Verify whether the package covers front, rear, or both axles and whether it is a standard or performance compound.
  • Check the contents list for anti-squeal shims, hardware and any wear sensors you may want to replace at the same time.

Gearbox / Transmission — You change gearbox and transmission parts when you have shifting issues, noise, leaks, or you are refreshing a high-mileage drivetrain. It is also common during clutch upgrades or ratio changes. Typical symptoms include whining in a specific gear, crunching on shifts, or difficulty selecting gears, as well as leaks at seals or casing joints.

  • Not all noise or poor shifting means the gearbox itself is failing—mounts, linkage, clutch, and oil condition can produce similar symptoms.
  • Using the correct-spec gearbox oil and refreshing it is often a sensible first step before major work.

Service Parts — Service parts are replaced as routine maintenance to keep the engine and systems reliable, efficient, and protected. Doing this on schedule reduces wear, helps prevent breakdowns, and maintains performance—especially on older Porsche models where neglected servicing can quickly lead to costly repairs. Symptoms prompting attention include hard starting, rough idle, reduced fuel economy and poor throttle response.

  • Both OEM and reputable aftermarket parts can be suitable—always match the correct specification for your Porsche.
  • Keeping a clear service log helps diagnostics later and can support the car’s resale value.

Service Kits — Service kits bundle the correct parts for a routine Porsche service into one package, reducing ordering mistakes and ensuring you can reset the car to a known maintenance baseline. They are ideal when catching up on overdue work or planning regular servicing to a consistent standard. Symptoms leading to a full kit are often general, such as sluggish running, inconsistent idle, poor economy, or increased engine noise from old oil and filters.

  • Service kits typically include filters and key consumables, but contents vary—check the list carefully and add any extra items you want to replace while access is good.
  • Kits are usually specific to model, year and engine, so confirm these details before ordering.

DRS-1 Swan Neck Rear spoiler and 3" riser kit carbon fibre

Fits:
Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS - 2022 to 2024
Porsche 718 GT4 - 2019 to 2024 *
Porsche 981 GT4 - 2016 *
* In conjunction with SilverRocket GT4 Carbon Fibre Tailgate - 98151291181/1

The DRS-1 rear spoiler features a more aggressive streamlined design with screw-less dry carbon fiber endplates, elevating its aesthetic appeal for the GT4 RS street car.

Flex-Carbon Structure: In traditional wings, aluminum inner structures are used at the mounting points, however, in the SR Flex-Carbon Wing, aluminum has been replaced with the SR Flex-Carbon structure, reducing the weight by another 1.5kg. Mostly importantly, the flex-carbon structure provides unparalleled flexibility, similar to that seen in the McLaren F1 Flex Wing.

Passive DRS Effect: Our tests on the Shanghai F1 track demonstrates that the DRS-1 wing can passively drop back by ~1.5 degree of AOA at speeds between 150 to 270 km/h, resulting in an 8km/h increase in top speed compared to traditional wings. For the GT4 RS, this improvements translates to a lap time reduction of 0.5 seconds.

The strongest and lightest rear wing for the GT4 RS

Made of 100% racing-grade dry carbon fiber, the SilverRocket DRS-1 Flex-Carbon Swan Neck Wing is the lightest rear wing for Porsche GT4 RS. It provides more compressive strength while weighs 2.85lbs lighter than the stock GT4 RS wing and 1.64lbs lighter than the stock Clubsport wing.

Full CFD analysis with real aero data
The SilverRocket DRS-1 Flex-Carbon Swan Neck Wing went through comprehensive CFD analysis with exceptional modeling conducted by expert engineer. Our real aero data shows that at 125mph and 15° AOA, the SilverRocket Clubsport rear wing provides a whooping 472 lbs of downforce, which is 170 lbs more than the stock GT4 RS rear wing.

Flex-Carbon Structure with Passive DRS (drag reduction system) effect
We use the SR Flex-Carbon Structure to replace the aluminum inner structure in traditional wings, resulting in a 1.5kg weight reduction. Most importantly, it provides unparalleled flexibility, similar to that seen in the McLaren F1 Flex Wing.

6 calculated AOA (angle of attack) settings with aero data
The SilverRocket DRS-1 Flex-Carbon Swan Neck Wing offers 6 different angle of attack settings from -2.5° up to 15° designed from our CFD analysis aero data to provide great maneuverability for various driving preferences and track condition. Additionally, we use the high end SUS304 1/2H stainless steel for the L-mount that significantly enhances the rigidity at the connection points.

100% racing-grade dry carbon fibre
No inferior wet carbon fiber, no cheap glass fiber, we use 100% racing-grade dry carbon fiber, both inside and out, in the making of this wing to ensure its superior structural strength and ultra lightweight for track performance.

Rigorously tested on and off the track for superior performance and reliability
The SilverRocket Dry Carbon Fiber Clubsport Wing has been pushed to its limit with aggressive strength testing and intensive track driving to ensure its superior reliability that’s essential for your track experience.

3" Dry Carbon Wing Risers

The SilverRocket GT4 RS Dry Carbon Fiber 3-inch Wing Riser is the only carbon fibre riser available on the market that is 100% customized for the Porsche 718 GT4 RS model. It is the upgraded version of our best-selling GT4 RS 3-inch wing riser (OEM AlSi7Mg Casting).

Lightest Wing Riser: Weigh at only 3.29lbs (1,493g), our carbon fiber wing riser is 2.4lbs (1,089g) lighter than the stock wing bracket, making it the lightest wing riser for the GT4 RS.

Track-tested Quality: We use 100% racing-grade dry carbon fiber in the making of this wing riser to ensure its superior quality. The riser has been rigorously tested both in the lab and on track, showcasing great strength and stability under extreme conditions during our lap time record test. It can withstand over 500lbs of downforce even with the Clubsport Rear Wing with extreme stability.

Improved Rear Visibility: Not only does our wing rise increase downforce, but it also provides added visual benefits. See clearly through the rear mirror, crucial for high-speed racing maneuvers.

Enhanced Downforce: By extending the factory wing 3 inches higher, our wing risers enhances rear downforce, delivering exceptional performance on both the track and street.

Sleek Full Carbon Aesthetics: With its 100% dry carbon fiber material, sleek design, and attention to detail, this wing riser elevates the overall appearance of your GT4 RS to a whole new level.

Hassle-Free Installation: It is designed to be 100% OEM compatible and seamlessly integrates with your Porsche 718 GT4 RS. No need for drilling additional holes or complex modifications. Install with ease and get ready to experience the difference.

Function:
The SR GT4 RS Dry Carbon Fiber 3-inch Wing Riser aims to optimize the rear wing downforce by raising the factory wing by 3 inches, further improving the car's racing performance. Additionally, it improves rear-view visibility to ensure that the driver's overall rear-view vision, particularly in high-pressure track environments, is not obstructed by the wing, significantly enhancing driving safety.

Function:
The Oxygen Sensor (also known as Lambda Sensor) is located in the exhaust manifold and measures the amount of unburned oxygen in your engine's exhaust. Based on the amount of oxygen, it sends a signal to your engine computer which then adjusts the air/fuel mixture for optimum engine performance and emission control.

Failure Symptoms:
Excessive fuel consumption, a faulty oxygen sensor can waste 30% of your fuel.
Driveability problems, such as engine surging or hesitation.
High hydrocarbon emissions, failing an emissions inspection.
The engine warning light may be on or service flag displayed.
The ecu/computer stores a mixture-related fault code.
When the oxygen sensor has stopped functioning completely, the catalytic converter may overheat and fail

Maintenance/Service:
Test and/or replace every 30,000 miles.
Perform periodic emission checks.
Watch for service light.
Vehicle manufacturers recommend periodic inspection and replacement of oxygen sensor.

Product Information
Lambda Oxygen Sensor before catalytic converter
Kit includes 2 x Lambda oxygen sensor

Fits:
Porsche 991.1 Carrera 2 / Carrera 4 - 2012 to 2016
Porsche 991.1 S Carrera 2S / Carrera 4S - 2012 to 2016
