Restore or upgrade the air intake plumbing on your classic Porsche 911 with this complete intake connection assembly. Designed for models with MFI/mechanical fuel injection, this intake pipe links the throttle/air-intake stack to the intake manifold, ensuring accurate airflow, reliable metering and correct fitment.

What This Product Does:

The intake pipe (or intake connection) is a critical component in the engine’s air delivery system: it connects the throttle body, intake stack or air intake system to the intake manifold of the engine.
It ensures a smooth, sealed, correctly shaped passage of air (and in the case of injection, the air-fuel mixture) into the cylinder head, maintaining correct airflow, avoiding leaks or turbulence that could upset fuel/air metering or engine response.
On the era of 911 referenced (MFI mechanical fuel injection), proper intake piping is important for correct function of the injection system, throttle response, and overall engine performance.

Symptoms Of Wear, Damage Or When Replacement Matters:

Air leaks or a hissing sound around the intake pipe, which can upset the injection/air-metering system, cause poor running, unstable idle or reduced performance.
Poor throttle response, hesitation or mis-firing — if the pipe is cracked, partially blocked, or has missing components, it can degrade engine performance.

Ecco i collettori di aspirazione Silverlake Porsche 911 GT3-style, progettati per applicazioni ITB (Individual Throttle Bodies) o DBW (Drive-By-Wire). Questi collettori sono compatibili con motori Porsche raffreddati ad aria e ad acqua, offrendo un'alternativa leggera e ad alte prestazioni alla versione OEM in alluminio pressofuso.

Disponibile in due materiali avanzati: preimpregnato in fibra di carbonio termoindurente o termoplastico rinforzato con fibra di vetro, ogni plenum pesa solo 825 grammi (1,8 libbre), notevolmente più leggero dei 2400 grammi (5,3 libbre) della versione in alluminio di serie. Ciò si traduce in una riduzione di peso totale di 3,15 kg (7 libbre) al paio, ovvero un risparmio del 65% rispetto all'originale.

Progettata e testata al banco di flusso per garantire un volume di flusso d'aria ottimale, la versione in fibra di carbonio presenta una finitura opaca, mentre il modello in termoplastica è verniciato in nero, con l'opzione per una riverniciatura personalizzata. Entrambe le versioni sono prive di loghi, offrendo un aspetto pulito e personalizzato.

Il kit comprende due collettori/plenum, i raccordi in silicone per alte temperature sono disponibili separatamente.
