Wiring harness fuel injectors.

technicaracewire

Fits:
Porsche 924S - 1986 to 1988
Porsche 944 - 1982 to 1989
Porsche 944 turbo - 1986 to 1991

This Porsche 944 Injector Harness  will replace your brittle and old connectors, terminals, wires and loom.
The fuel injector section of the factory harness connector has been exposed to three decades of high heat cycles and extreme environmental conditions. As a result, the wires and connectors become brittle and broken, which can cause problems with engine performance.

This OEM+ replacement harness with yellow labels will ensure a cleaner engine bay, using brand-new connectors and wires, and sealed boots.

The harness will be routed through the elephant's boot, down the main branch, and into the DME at the passenger's footwell. A full pinout and instruction manual will be provided with the harness.

  • TXL Wires (Temperature Rating to +125 C)
  • Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) Loom (Temperature Rating to +125 C)

About Injectors

Fuel Injectors – Precision Fuel Delivery for Porsche Performance

Fuel injectors are critical components in your Porsche’s engine management system, responsible for delivering precise amounts of fuel directly into the combustion chamber. They ensure efficient fuel atomisation and optimal air-fuel ratios, which are essential for smooth performance, responsive acceleration, and reduced emissions.

At Design911, we offer a comprehensive selection of genuine and high-quality fuel injectors for Porsche models including 911, Boxster, Cayman, Cayenne, Macan, and Panamera. Each injector is engineered for accuracy, flow consistency, and reliability — ensuring your Porsche maintains its renowned performance and efficiency.

What Do Fuel Injectors Do?

Fuel injectors deliver pressurised fuel into the engine at precise intervals, ensuring perfect combustion. Their primary functions include:

  • Metering and atomising fuel for efficient combustion.
  • Maintaining correct air-fuel ratio under all load conditions.
  • Optimising performance and throttle response.
  • Reducing emissions and fuel consumption.

A properly functioning injector ensures smooth idle, crisp acceleration, and optimal power output — critical for both daily driving and high-performance applications.

Why Do Fuel Injectors Fail?

Fuel injectors operate under high pressure and extreme heat, making them prone to gradual wear or contamination. Common causes of failure include:

  • Fuel contamination from debris or poor-quality petrol.
  • Clogged or restricted nozzles due to carbon buildup.
  • Leaking seals or o-rings causing pressure loss.
  • Electrical faults in injector coils or connectors.
  • Corrosion from ethanol-blended fuels or moisture.

Symptoms of faulty injectors include rough idle, engine misfires, increased fuel consumption, loss of power, or a check engine light.

Why Replace Faulty Fuel Injectors?

Replacing worn or damaged fuel injectors restores your Porsche’s engine efficiency and responsiveness. New injectors ensure precise fuel delivery and balanced performance across all cylinders.

Benefits of replacement include:

  • Restored engine smoothness and performance.
  • Improved throttle response and power delivery.
  • Reduced emissions and better fuel economy.
  • Reliable combustion with manufacturer-quality precision.

Our range of injectors is designed using high-precision engineering and corrosion-resistant materials, ensuring consistent spray patterns, flow rates, and long service life in all conditions.
