For classic 911 (964 and 993 generation) owners who decide to remove their radio, finding a storage solution that blends seamlessly with the interior design has been impossible. The best available option so far has been a cover plate, which unfortunately renders the space useless. Given that 911s are compact cars, every bit of additional storage is highly valued.

The radio delete pocket is here to solve this problem. It is specifically designed to fit perfectly into the radio cavity, aligning flawlessly with the air control panel trim. This pocket is crafted from PA12 nylon, a material known for its durability and resistance to heat, chemicals, and wear. Its finish texture matches typical car plastic parts, ensuring it looks like an original feature of your 911.

Inside dimensions of the pocket:
• Width: 177mm / 6,95"
• Height: 44mm / 1,73"
• Depth: 102mm / 4" (deep enough to hold phone, but not too deep to make it hard pull items out)

Installation requires to slide the pocket in the opening then slide 4 retaining blocks (3 bottom / 1 top) from the back of the pocket into the guides.
Role of the blocks is to securely attached the pocket against the metal dash. After those are in place use thin needle or nail to align the nuts inside the blocks with the holes in the pocket. Lastly fasten everything with 7 screws (this needs to be done inside of the pocket so best is to use philips head screwdriver attachment, finger tight should be enough, do not over tighten those.

Most, if not all track prepared 964/993 cars will have their air bags removed to save weight and to avoid being deployed if the inevitable were to happen. Factory air bag covers are very valuable, and should not be left in these cars to become victims of the less than gentle treatment that track cars receive. Rennline’s airbag delete panel is a lightweight aluminum panel that is formed to the exact shape and size of the factory padded air bag cover but weighs 2/3rds less. Available in textured black powder coat to match the existing factory dash and uses all factory air bag cover hardware.

Note: Airbag must be removed to use this product.

This super lightweight dash cover has been specifically designed to finish off that stripped out dash of your 911 race car. This one piece unit covers the entire bottom half of the dash area from the top pad down. The dash panel comes with ignition and mounting holes only, custom holes can easily be added during installation. All stainless steel hardware is included for an easy installation. Available in brushed or black powder coat finish.

Note: Dash padding, glove box and passenger side airbag must be removed for installation.
