Fits:
  • Porsche 996 C4 3.4L 1999-08/01
  • Porsche 996 C4 3.6L 09/01-2005
  • Porsche 996 C4S 3.6L 09/01-2005
  • Porsche 996 TURBO 2000-05

Diagram Ref No 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13

What This Product Does:

  • The top mount (strut mount) sits between the top of the shock absorber/strut and the vehicle’s body/strut tower. It supports the loads from springs, damper, steering (via bearing), and absorbs vibration/road noise.
  • A monoball mount version replaces the standard rubber mount with a spherical bearing (monoball) or very stiff mounting that provides more direct steering/suspension feedback, reduces deflection under load, and keeps suspension geometry (camber, caster) more consistent during hard cornering.

Symptoms & Signs You Need Replacement:

  • Clunking or knocking noise from the top of the front strut tower when going over bumps or during steering inputs — a worn mount or bearing often causes this.
  • Squeaking or creaking noise when steering the wheel, especially at low speeds — the strut mount bearing may be worn.
  • Poor steering feedback or vague handling, especially when cornering hard — a worn mount can cause deflection and loss of camber control.
  • Excessive vibration or noise through the body from the front suspension; worn mount rubber or bearing can transmit more noise.
  • During a shock/strut replacement or front suspension overhaul — since the top mount assembly must be removed anyway, replacing the modern monoball upgrade kit is logical to restore or upgrade suspension quality.
  • Steering geometry issues — if you’ve had camber/caster issues, or your tyres are wearing unevenly at the front, a poor top mount may contribute.

Why Replacement Matters:

  • Suspension performance & tyre contact: On high-performance cars like a Porsche 911 C4/Turbo, the front suspension’s geometry and mounting rigidity matter a lot. If the top mount is deflecting, you lose optimal tyre contact patch under load, which reduces grip, increases tyre wear, and impairs handling.
  • Durability & noise/vibration: Rubber top mounts tend to degrade over time (cracking, flattening, absorbing road noise). A good mount + bearing kit eliminates unwanted compliance and noise, and lengthens life of the strut/damper assembly.
  • Precise handling and steering feel: The top mount bearing allows the strut to turn with steering; if worn, you get sloppy steering feel and delayed response. Upgrading to a monoball mount helps sharpen the steering and gives more direct feedback.
  • Prevents repeat labour: Since access to the strut top requires removing mount or taking down the strut, doing a mount/bearing replacement while everything is open is cost-effective. It avoids having to redo labour later when noise or wear returns.

Manufactured in titanium for enhanced strength, reduced weight, and outstanding durability, even in high heat conditions. Originally designed to support the catalytic converter / exhaust assembly on Porsche 996 and 997 Gen 1 models, this titanium version delivers all the reliable fit and function of the original steel bracket, but with superior performance.

Fits:
Porsche 996 C2 / C4 08/2001 - 2004
Porsche 997 C2 / C4 2005 - 2008

Diagram Ref no 9

Mounted behind the rear bumper under the exhaust, it securely supports the catalytic converter, helping to maintain proper exhaust alignment and absorb vibration without cracking or deforming. If you’re after longevity, performance, or reducing corrosion, this titanium bracket is an excellent upgrade.

You may need to replace the bracket if it shows signs of rust, cracks, bending, or deformation. Other warning signs include rattling or vibration from the exhaust or catalytic converter during acceleration or over bumps, visible misalignment of the exhaust system, or a catalytic converter that hangs too low. Worn hangers or mounts caused by added stress from a weak bracket are also clear indicators. If a damaged bracket is not replaced, the exhaust can sag, shift, or make contact with the underbody, creating damage and unwanted noise. The added strain on other mounts and components can accelerate wear, lead to fractures, or cause heat and vibration damage to nearby parts. Left unchecked, this can result in exhaust leaks, failed emissions tests, or costly repairs to the catalytic converter and exhaust system. You wouldn't do this to your Porsche, would you?

Upgrade your Porsche with our Titanium Exhaust Bracket. A premium replacement for the OEM rear muffler support bracket used on 996 and 997 models. Crafted from high-grade titanium, this bracket offers the strength and precision fit you expect, with the bonus of lighter weight and superior corrosion resistance. Fit and forget.

Fits:
Porsche 996 C2 / C4 / C4S 1998-05
Porsche 997 Carrera 2009-08 (Sports exhaust system)

Diagram Ref no. 10

Choosing a titanium version of this bracket offers several key advantages. Titanium is far more resistant to rust, corrosion, and fatigue than mild steel or standard alloys, which means it will last longer even under the intense heat and stress of the exhaust system. It’s also much lighter, helping reduce unsprung weight and contributing to improved exhaust response and overall vehicle balance. Finally, the titanium bracket provides the same precise fit as the original, keeping the muffler securely aligned and supported to prevent rattles, misalignment, or damage.

Product Information
Product Information
Exhaust manifold fitting kit. Kit contains all gaskets,  Titanium nuts and bolts required at fitting exhaust headers.
Fitting titanium nuts and bolts to a Porsche exhaust system instead of the standard steel ones (which are prone to rusting) offers several clear advantages, especially in a high-heat, corrosive environment like the exhaust area.

Fits:
Porsche 997.2 Carrera 2009 - 2012

Advantages of Titanium over Steel for Exhaust Fasteners
•  Corrosion Resistance, Titanium does not rust like steel, even when exposed to road salt, water, or exhaust gases.
•  This makes it ideal for exhaust systems, where steel fixings often seize or corrode, making future removal difficult.
•  Lightweight. Titanium is around 40–45% lighter than steel. On a Porsche, reducing unsprung or rear-end weight helps with performance, balance, and handling.
•  High Strength-to-Weight Ratio, Titanium fasteners offer excellent tensile strength while being much lighter.
•  This allows them to handle exhaust vibrations and thermal expansion without stretching or breaking.
•  Heat Resistance, Titanium maintains its strength at much higher temperatures compared to standard steel.
•  Exhaust areas can easily see 600–900°C, and titanium is much less likely to weaken under those conditions.
•  No Seizing or Galling from Rust, Standard steel exhaust nuts often seize and require cutting or drilling during maintenance.

Brake hoses Braided stainless steel (Set of 4) Front & Rear
Braided stainless steel brake hoses are a popular upgrade over traditional rubber brake hoses, especially in performance and heavy usage applications.

Rohler high-performance braided brake lines are constructed with PTFE (Teflon®) tubing covered by woven stainless steel 304 braid. They are tested at pressures far greater than the average master cylinder can exert. The end fitting is produced with steel material, 15A (Q235), surface treatment is Zinc Nickel plating, this can with stand a 1000-hour salt spray test.

Reduced Brake Line Expansion: Rubber hoses can swell under high hydraulic pressure and heat, which causes a “spongy” brake pedal feel. Braided stainless steel hoses have an inner Teflon (PTFE) core wrapped in a stainless-steel braid, which prevents expansion. Result: Firmer, more consistent brake pedal feel.

Improved Braking Response: Because the hoses don’t expand, hydraulic pressure is transmitted more efficiently to the calipers. This translates into quicker and more precise braking response.

Enhanced Durability: Stainless steel braid protects the inner Teflon core from abrasion, impacts, and UV damage that can degrade rubber hoses over time. Resistant to chemicals, oil, road debris, and corrosion. Less likely to crack or deteriorate with age compared to rubber.

Longer Service Life: Rubber hoses often need replacement every few years due to aging and cracking. Braided stainless steel hoses last significantly longer, especially if properly maintained.

Better Heat Resistance: Rubber hoses can soften and weaken under extreme heat (such as track use, towing, or mountain driving). Stainless braided hoses handle higher temperatures, reducing the risk of fade or failure.
