Porsche - a sports car manufacturer that has "raceborn" in its DNA. The perpetual aspiration of lightweight construction and sporty driving is therefore embedded in every development.
With the historic ignition starter switch, Porsche has developed a homage to historic races and has set itself the task of preserving the Porsche tradition of the "ignition key on the left". It was designed together with Studio F.A. Porsche Zell am See. Visually, it is reminiscent of the historic key head as used in the sports prototypes. For optimum stability and durability, it was milled from a single piece of aluminium. In order to protect the material, but also to recall the silver look of the aluminium bodies from the early days of Porsche motorsport, it was anodised in a clear finish. With 5 holes, finished with a Porsche logo on both sides, the historic ignition starter switch brings a touch of racing history to the Porsche sports cars of today.

Upgrade or restore critical engine hardware on your Porsche 911 (997-series) with this genuine OEM bolt with washer. Designed for the crankshaft assembly on M97.01 engines, this fastener ensures correct clamping, correct load distribution and secure attachment.
Fits:
- Porsche 997 MK1 Carrera 2S 3.8L 2005-08
- Porsche 997 MK1 Carrera 4S 3.8L 2005-08
Diagram Ref No 31
What This Product Does:
- This bolt with integrated washer (combination screw) clamps the crankshaft/flywheel assembly to the engine block or connection plate, allowing torque transmission from the engine.
- Because it's in a high-load, rotating, high-temperature environment, the bolt must maintain specification: correct size, correct material strength, proper washer preload, and correct torque/installation.
- The washer portion helps distribute clamping load and prevent loosening under vibration and rotational forces.
- If this bolt fails, loosens or is incorrect, it could lead to flywheel/shaft movement, mis-alignment, major engine damage or catastrophic failure.
When You Might Need Replacement:
- You are removing the crankshaft, flywheel, or performing engine teardown/major service.
- The bolt appears corroded, damaged, stretched, or shows evidence of prior over-torque or reuse beyond specification.
- The washer portion is deformed, missing, or not the correct factory spec.
- You’re assembling a high-performance or rebuilt engine and want to ensure all critical bolts meet original Porsche specification rather than reuse old hardware.
Why Replacement Matters:
- Engine safety & reliability: Securing the crankshaft/flywheel area is essential for the engine’s mechanical health. A compromised bolt here can lead to misalignment, vibration, failure of bearings, or worse.
- Maintaining OEM integrity: Using the correct Porsche part (99710220200) ensures correct dimensions, material, washer design, and correct preload/torque spec.
- Avoiding long-term risk: Because this bolt operates in a high-stress rotating environment, replacing it when doing major work means you don’t risk future failure or damage.

249 - Tiptronic Transmission
Diagram Ref No 15
What This Product Does:
- The pipe directs coolant (engine coolant / water mixture) through the cooling system, often routing it through or around a transmission/automatic-gearbox oil cooler in vehicles with Tiptronic/automatic transmissions.
- It helps regulate fluid temperature (coolant & possibly transmission oil) by providing proper coolant flow in the rear-engine bay area.
- Maintaining correct coolant flow through this pipe ensures the engine/transmission oil cooler stays effective, temperatures remain controlled, and the vehicle’s cooling system functions safely.
- Coolant leaks or drips in the rear of the engine bay where this pipe is located—looking for coolant residue, wetness, corrosion around the pipe connections.
- Reduced cooling performance: If coolant isn’t flowing properly (for example if the pipe is cracked, collapsed internally or blocked), you might see higher than normal engine or transmission oil temperatures, especially under heavy load or sustained driving.
- Visible damage, cracks, splits or heat/rubber deterioration (if part of the pipe has rubber sections or is routed near hot components) — Because rear-engine compartments get hot, pipes near the automatic trans oil cooler are subject to thermal/age stress.
- During servicing: If you are already removing parts of the cooling system, oil cooler, or automatic transmission heat exchanger, and you notice the pipe is old, brittle or worn—replacing it while access is available prevents future failure.
- Cooling system integrity: This pipe is part of the critical route for coolant (and possibly transmission oil cooling). A failure or leak can reduce the cooler’s effectiveness, leading to elevated temperatures and increased wear or damage to the transmission or engine.
- Prevention of bigger failures: A leaking or collapsed pipe may lead to coolant loss, cross-contamination, or overheating—which are much more serious and expensive to fix than replacing the pipe itself.

Ensure optimum braking assist performance on your Porsche with this genuine OEM vacuum line. Designed for 987-series vehicles (Boxster/Cayman 2005-08), this line connects the vacuum source to the brake assist or under-body vacuum system, ensuring proper vacuum supply, consistent brake pedal feel, and reliable operation.
Fits:
- Porsche Boxster 987 2.7L 2005 -08/08
- Porsche Boxster 987 S 3.2/3.4L 2005-08/08
- Porsche Cayman 2.7L 987C 2006-08
- Porsche Cayman S 3.4L 987C 2005-08
Diagram Ref No 14
What This Product Does:
- This vacuum line carries engine or brake-servo vacuum (negative pressure) from the vacuum source (e.g., intake manifold or dedicated vacuum pump) to the brake master cylinder/servo or rear axle vacuum assist components.
- The line ensures that the brake assist system (and possibly other vacuum-dependent systems) receive the correct vacuum pressure so that the driver has proper brake pedal feel, braking power assist, and overall vacuum system integrity.
- A proper vacuum line prevents loss of assist, ensures consistent braking effort, and avoids vacuum leaks that could affect engine operation or brake performance.
Symptoms Of Wear Or When To Replace:
- Reduced brake assist: The brake pedal may feel harder than normal, or the braking response may require more effort — indicating the vacuum feed is compromised.
- Hissing or vacuum leak noise: A damaged or cracked vacuum line may emit a hissing sound under load as vacuum is lost.
- Visible damage, cracking, brittleness, kinks or splits in the hose/line, especially under the vehicle or near mounting points.
- Check engine or brake system warning lights: A vacuum leak may trigger fault codes related to braking or vacuum-supply detection.
- Age-related deterioration: Rubber or plastic vacuum hoses degrade over time (heat, road debris, chemical exposure) and for 987-series vehicles these lines are good candidates for preventive replacement.
- Brake safety & performance: A secure, intact vacuum line is critical to ensuring brake assist works properly — directly impacting stopping distances and driver safety.
- System reliability: A genuine part ensures the correct hose diameter, material and routing — preventing future leaks, vacuum loss and other associated issues.
- Prevents further damage: A failed vacuum line may cause compensatory wear on other brake components (master cylinder, servo) or affect engine vacuum systems — replacing proactively prevents secondary damage.
- OEM fitment: Using the correct Porsche part (#98735557503) keeps the system as engineered and avoids mismatches which could reduce reliability or cause fit/clearance issues.
- Maintains vehicle value & integrity: For Porsche vehicles, even small parts like vacuum lines matter for overall build quality, service history and operational confidence.

Restore factory-correct mounting on your Porsche with this genuine OEM combination screw with integrated washer. This M6 × 14 mm bolt is employed in multiple applications including the exhaust system (muffler/catalytic converter).
Sold Each.
Fits:
- Porsche 993 (911) C2 1994-97
- Porsche 993 (911) C4 1994-97
Diagram Ref No 24
What This Product Does:
- The bolt with washer is used to secure components that have to withstand vibration, heat, and load — particularly in high-stress areas like the exhaust system. The integrated washer ensures even load distribution and proper clamping under vibration and thermal cycling.
- In an exhaust application, bolts need to maintain tightness despite expansion/contraction, corrosion, heat soak and road conditions. Using the correct specification helps ensure a secure mount, prevent exhaust leaks, rattles or mounting failures.
Signs You Might Need Replacement:
- You notice exhaust rattle, looseness or mis-alignment of the muffler, catalytic converter or associated hangers — if the mounting bolts are corroded or loose, they may be part of the cause.
- During removal, you find the original fastener head is rounded off, corroded or fatigued, making it difficult to torque or reuse.
Why Replacement Matters:
- Safety & reliability: Incritical areas like the exhaust system, a bolt failure can lead to exhaust leaks, heat damage to bodywork, or even dropping of components.
- Prevents future issues: Corrosion, fatigue or improper clamping load can lead to fastener failure.
- Supports vehicle value & authenticity: For Porsche owners/restorers, even small items like bolts matter for authenticity and build quality.

What This Product Does:
- The shaft seal performs a critical function: it prevents the leakage of fluid (transmission fluid, gear oil or lubricant) from around a rotating shaft housing, while also preventing ingress of dirt, moisture or contaminants into the housing.
- In a gearbox or differential application for the 993/964, the seal ensures that the automatic transmission / differential assembly stays properly lubricated, maintains correct fluid levels and keeps contamination out.
- Proper sealing ensures reliable gearbox/differential life, prevents lubricant loss, avoids overheating or accelerated wear of internal components.
Symptoms & Signs Of Wear / When To Replace:
- Visible fluid leakage around the shaft housing area or gearbox/differential case: oil/gear-oil seeping or pooling near the area where the seal sits.
- Low gearbox or differential fluid level during inspections or the need to top up frequently — a worn seal may allow persistent leakage.
- Unusual noise or vibration from the differential/gearbox area — due to lubricant loss or contamination ingress causing increased wear.
- Cracked, hardened or damaged seal lip if visible during inspection (though many seals are internal). Age-related hardening or swelling of the seal material is a concern.
- When doing major transmission/differential service: If disassembling gearbox or differential and replacing bearings, shafts, etc., it’s often prudent to replace the seal at the same time due to age or service life.
- Preserves gearbox/differential reliability: A faulty seal can cause lubricant loss and subsequent damage to bearings, gears or internal components; preventing this saves major repair cost.
- Prevents contamination: Preventing ingress of dirt, water or foreign material through a bad seal protects internal mechanical precision and longevity.
- Pre-emptive maintenance: On older vehicles, seals degrade with age, heat and time. Replacing a suspect seal while condition allows can avoid a catastrophic failure down the line.

Diagram Ref No 4
What This Product Does:
- This part is the gearshift knob/lever — the interface in the driver cabin that you grip to change gears (manual transmission) or operate a shift lever (depending on variant).
- The knob/lever plays both a functional role (giving you the correct grip, feel and linkage to the gearbox) and a cosmetic role (it contributes to the interior look and premium feel).
- By being finished in Alcantara, the knob offers improved tactile feel, less slipperiness, and a more upscale, sporty aesthetic compared to standard all-plastic knobs.
Signs You Might Want To Replace It:
- The existing knob is worn, faded, torn or damaged — particularly the finish may be peeling, the Alcantara may be worn smooth or the underlying structure may be loose.
- The knob feels slippery or worn out, meaning your grip or shifting feel isn’t as crisp as when new.
- You are performing an interior refresh or want to upgrade the feel/appearance of your car’s cockpit — especially if you have Alcantara trim elsewhere and want the knob to match.
- The knob doesn’t align with your vehicle’s aesthetic (for example you’re running a sport interior with Alcantara and the original knob is plain plastic).
Why Replacement Matters:
- Improved feel & driver connection: A well-made knob in Alcantara provides better tactile feedback and grip — subtle but meaningful if you spend a lot of time in the car or shift often.
- Interior cohesion & aesthetics: On high-end vehicles like those from Porsche, the quality of the interior detail matters. Matching materials (Alcantara) elevate the look and feel and support the premium character.
- OEM fitment & value: Genuine part ensures correct dimensions, proper fit, secure mounting, and alignment with vehicle interior design.

Restore the integrity of your brake hydraulics with this genuine OEM rigid brake line for the Porsche 911 (996 Carrera/Carrera 4) models. This high-quality rigid steel line forms part of the front section brake-line circuit (often associated with the ABS/ modulator unit) and ensures optimal brake fluid delivery, pressure stability and system reliability.
Fits:
- Porsche 996 C2 3.4L 1999
- Porsche 996 C4 3.4L 1999
Diagram Ref No 6
What This Product Does:
- This brake line carries hydraulic brake fluid under high pressure from the brake master cylinder or hydraulic/ABS unit to the front brakes (or to the relevant section identified) in the braking system.
- Because it is a rigid line (usually steel or lacquered steel), it provides a fixed, stable conduit for fluid, resists expansion and maintains proper pedal feel and brake response.
- In an ABS-equipped system, having correct brake line integrity is vital for the anti-lock system to sense and modulate pressure correctly. A damaged or corroded line can compromise braking or ABS functionality.
Symptoms & Signs Of Wear Or Failure:
- Visible damage or corrosion: Rusted, pitted or flared ends, cracks in the line or flaking coating that indicate structural weakness.
- Brake fluid leak: Any sign of fluid seepage, drips, dampness along the underside or around fittings — a failing rigid line can leak at the flare or crack.
- Soft brake pedal or spongy feel: While harder to detect with a rigid line, if that section is compromised or has internal blockage, pedal feel may degrade.
- ABS warning or braking inconsistency: If the ABS unit is unable to regulate pressure or if one circuit is compromised, you may see warning lights or uneven braking.
- During restoration or braking system overhaul: If other parts are being replaced (ABS unit, calipers, fluid), it’s good practice to replace brake lines that look old or suspect, especially for critical parts like rigid front lines.
- Safety & braking performance: The braking system is one of the most critical safety systems in the vehicle. A deteriorated brake line compromises braking response and could lead to failure.
- Brake pedal feel and response reliability: A properly installed, intact brake line ensures consistent pedal pressure and predictable braking — essential for the driver’s control.
- ABS & system integrity: In a system with ABS and hydraulic modulator units, all lines must be within specification for proper functioning. A damaged line in this circuit may compromise the system.

Restore the air-flow to your engine oil cooler with this genuine Porsche air duct. Designed for the Porsche 944 S2 (1989-91) with oil-cooler assembly, this duct channels fresh air into and out of the oil cooler core, ensuring effective oil-temperature control under load.
Fits:
- Porsche 944S2 3.0L 16V 1989-91
Diagram Ref No 1
What This Product Does:
- The oil cooler air duct is part of the engine’s oil-cooling / heat-exchange system. It channels ambient air into the oil-cooler core or directs heated air away from the cooler to help maintain optimum oil temperature.
- In the 944 S2 the engine is front-mounted and uses an oil cooler (in addition to the radiator) to help manage oil temperature. The duct ensures that sufficient fresh air flows through/around the oil cooler fins, and that hot air is removed efficiently.
- Proper operation of the duct helps the oil-cooler perform its job, thereby helping to keep engine oil at safe operating temperatures, protecting bearings, seals and prolonging engine life.
Symptoms & Signs of Wear / When To Replace:
- Visible damage, cracks or missing ducting around the oil cooler – if the duct is cracked, split or detached, air-flow may be reduced.
- Over-temperature of engine oil or higher than normal oil temps (especially under load or warm ambient conditions) — could indicate the oil cooler is not getting enough air due to duct failure.
- Reduced or blocked airflow in the front ventilation channel around the oil cooler (debris, lost mounting, broken duct).
- Increased oil cooler noise or rattles – if the duct is loose or broken, air turbulence or vibration may be noticeable.
- Signs of heat damage downstream of the cooler – e.g., heat-scorching, melted components, because hot air was not guided away properly.
- Ensures oil-cooler efficiency: Without the duct functioning correctly, the oil cooler may not receive enough fresh airflow or may overheat, which can degrade oil quality and accelerate wear.
- Protects engine reliability: Proper oil temperature helps protect engine bearings, seals and performance integrity — the duct contributes indirectly but significantly.
