Kits for Porsche
Design911 offers an extensive selection of package deals for Porsche parts, providing an ideal solution for Porsche enthusiasts looking to upgrade, maintain, or personalise their vehicles. These packages are thoughtfully curated to include complementary components, helping with compatibility and overall cost-effectiveness
A Quick Look at Kits
Kits information on this page is based on details supplied by the manufacturer or distributor, plus any OE references provided with the parts.
Choosing the Right Fit for Your Porsche
Where Kits are listed for Porsche, use the supplied model coverage and OE references to confirm suitability. Check details that commonly affect fitment such as model year, axle or side, and any option codes or connector types where relevant.
- Typical reasons people choose kits include wanting all the right Porsche parts in one order, reducing the risk of missing seals, clips, or one-time-use fixings, and saving workshop time.
- Kits help ensure matched components (for example, brake refresh kits, service kits, or suspension refresh kits) so parts work together as intended.
- Common real-world triggers include repeated failures because a small supporting part was not replaced, mixed part revisions, or mismatched specification between components.
- If problems occur, they are often traced to incorrect vehicle selection, old core components not addressed, or installation shortcuts rather than the kit itself.
- Before you start work, compare the kit contents with the Porsche PET diagram and your job list so you know exactly what is included and what may still be needed.
- Always confirm whether kits are vehicle-specific, and check if bolts, clips, fluids, and other one-time-use hardware are included or need to be added separately.
Browse by Category
If you already know the area you are working on, start with the category and then filter by Porsche model. Where real-world symptoms and typical reasons to replace are provided, use them to keep the wording grounded.
Brakes — Brake components are renewed to restore stopping performance, address wear or upgrade a Porsche for fast road or track use. Common symptoms include vibration under braking, increased stopping distances, squealing, pulling to one side, warning lights and visible wear to discs and pads.
- Check whether new fitting kits and wear sensors are included or should be added separately.
- Confirm if parts are OE-equivalent replacements or higher-friction performance upgrades before ordering.
Brake Pads Packages — Brake pad packages group matched front and rear sets, making it easier to renew all pads at once for consistent feel and balance across the axle. Worn pads can cause squealing, low pedal feel, longer stopping distances and may score discs if run down to the backing plates.
- Verify whether the package covers front, rear, or both axles and whether it is a standard or performance compound.
- Check the contents list for anti-squeal shims, hardware and any wear sensors you may want to replace at the same time.
Gearbox / Transmission — You change gearbox and transmission parts when you have shifting issues, noise, leaks, or you are refreshing a high-mileage drivetrain. It is also common during clutch upgrades or ratio changes. Typical symptoms include whining in a specific gear, crunching on shifts, or difficulty selecting gears, as well as leaks at seals or casing joints.
- Not all noise or poor shifting means the gearbox itself is failing—mounts, linkage, clutch, and oil condition can produce similar symptoms.
- Using the correct-spec gearbox oil and refreshing it is often a sensible first step before major work.
Service Parts — Service parts are replaced as routine maintenance to keep the engine and systems reliable, efficient, and protected. Doing this on schedule reduces wear, helps prevent breakdowns, and maintains performance—especially on older Porsche models where neglected servicing can quickly lead to costly repairs. Symptoms prompting attention include hard starting, rough idle, reduced fuel economy and poor throttle response.
- Both OEM and reputable aftermarket parts can be suitable—always match the correct specification for your Porsche.
- Keeping a clear service log helps diagnostics later and can support the car’s resale value.
Service Kits — Service kits bundle the correct parts for a routine Porsche service into one package, reducing ordering mistakes and ensuring you can reset the car to a known maintenance baseline. They are ideal when catching up on overdue work or planning regular servicing to a consistent standard. Symptoms leading to a full kit are often general, such as sluggish running, inconsistent idle, poor economy, or increased engine noise from old oil and filters.
- Service kits typically include filters and key consumables, but contents vary—check the list carefully and add any extra items you want to replace while access is good.
- Kits are usually specific to model, year and engine, so confirm these details before ordering.

Restore accurate valve timing and correct operation of a mechanically fuel-injected engine with this OE Match Camshaft Set of 2. Designed for compatible engines equipped with a Mechanical Fuel Injection (MFI) pump, this matched two-camshaft set provides a replacement solution for engine rebuilds, restorations and repairs where the existing camshafts are worn, damaged or unsuitable.
Fits:
Porsche 911S 1965-73
Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7L 1974-77
Camshafts are precision internal engine components that control the opening and closing of the intake and exhaust valves. Their carefully engineered lobe profiles determine valve lift, duration and timing, directly influencing cylinder filling, exhaust gas evacuation, combustion efficiency, torque and engine performance.
What This Product Does:
- Includes 2 camshafts for the compatible engine application.
- Is designed for engines equipped with a mechanical fuel injection pump.
- Controls the opening and closing of the intake and exhaust valves.
- Maintains the required valve timing relative to crankshaft position.
- Determines valve lift through the cam lobe profiles.
- Determines how long the valves remain open.
- Works with the associated rocker arms and valve-train components.
- Supports correct operation of the engine alongside the MFI system.
- Helps provide efficient cylinder filling and exhaust gas evacuation.
- Supports smooth combustion and consistent engine performance.
- Influences power delivery, torque and throttle response.
- Replaces worn, damaged or unsuitable camshafts during an engine rebuild.
Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:
- Ticking, tapping or abnormal valve-train noises.
- Reduced engine power.
- Poor or inconsistent throttle response.
- Rough or unstable idle.Engine misfires.
- Uneven performance between cylinders.
- Difficulty maintaining correct valve clearances.
- Repeated changes in valve adjustment.
- Reduced valve lift.
- Flattened or excessively worn camshaft lobes.
- Pitting, scoring or surface damage on the cam lobes.
- Excessive wear on rocker arms or other mating components.
- Abnormal camshaft journal wear.
- Metallic particles in the engine oil or oil filter.
- Visible camshaft damage during engine disassembly.
Why Replacement Matters:
- Camshaft condition directly affects the engine's ability to breathe correctly. As cam lobes wear, their effective shape changes, potentially reducing valve lift or altering the period for which a valve remains open.
- This can restrict the intake charge entering a cylinder or interfere with the efficient evacuation of exhaust gases. The resulting symptoms may include reduced power, poor throttle response, rough running and uneven cylinder performance.
- Correct camshaft specification is especially important with Mechanical Fuel Injection. The MFI system is mechanically coordinated with engine operation, so the camshafts must be appropriate for the engine and injection configuration. Incorrect valve timing or an unsuitable camshaft profile can compromise the intended relationship between airflow and fuel delivery.
- Camshaft wear can also damage associated valve-train components. Worn or pitted cam lobes may accelerate deterioration of rocker-arm contact surfaces, while damaged mating components can rapidly wear a replacement camshaft. Metal generated by this wear can circulate through the engine oil and potentially damage other internal components.

Fits:
Porsche 911 TU/T 1965-69
Porsche 911 T 1970>>
Porsche 911 T-V 1972>>
Porsche 914-6 1970-76
The camshaft is one of the engine's most important internal components. Its precisely shaped lobes control the movement of the intake and exhaust valves through the associated valve-train components. Camshaft profile determines critical characteristics including valve lift, duration and timing, all of which influence cylinder filling, exhaust gas evacuation, combustion efficiency and engine performance.
What This Product Does:
- Restore correct camshaft and valve-train operation.
- Control the opening and closing of the intake and exhaust valves.
- Maintain correct valve timing relative to crankshaft position.
- Provide the required valve lift and duration.
- Support efficient cylinder filling with the intake charge.
- Allow effective evacuation of exhaust gases.
- Maintain consistent valve operation across the engine.
- Support smooth combustion and dependable engine performance.
- Replace worn or damaged camshaft-related components.
- Provide a coordinated solution for compatible engine rebuilds and repairs.
- Restore valve-train functionality when correctly installed and timed.
Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:
- Ticking, tapping or abnormal valve-train noise.
- Reduced engine power or acceleration.
- Poor throttle response.
- Rough or inconsistent idle.
- Engine misfires.
- Uneven performance between cylinders.
- Difficulty maintaining correct valve clearances.
- Repeated changes in valve adjustment.
- Reduced valve lift.
- Flattened or excessively worn cam lobes.
- Pitting or scoring on camshaft surfaces.
- Excessive wear of mating followers, lifters or rocker components.
- Metallic particles in the engine oil or oil filter.
- Abnormal camshaft journal wear.
- Visible valve-train damage during engine disassembly.
Why Replacement Matters:
- The camshaft directly controls the engine's valve movement. When a cam lobe becomes worn, its effective profile changes, potentially reducing how far or how long the corresponding valve opens.
- Reduced valve lift or incorrect effective duration can restrict the amount of air and fuel entering the cylinder or interfere with the removal of exhaust gases. The result may be reduced power, rough running, poor throttle response and inefficient combustion.
- Camshaft wear can also spread to associated valve-train components. A damaged cam lobe may accelerate wear of its mating follower, lifter or rocker component, while a damaged mating component can quickly deteriorate a replacement camshaft. Metallic debris produced by this wear can then circulate through the lubrication system and potentially damage other internal engine components.

Ever since the disc brake was invented vibration and pulsation caused by thermal expansion has been a major issue giving rise to warped discs - until now?
PFC has released new V3 disc and hat technology. The advanced design features a patented attachment design that uses a retention ring that holds the hat and disc together.
The ring means no need for torque wrenches, and no hassle. The ability to change a disc quickly and efficiently saves time and effort. As well as being convenient, the new V3 technology is much lighter than previous designs, making it easier to put on and pull off, and making the vehicle lighter.
This V3 disc retention method is based on the use of a two-turn retaining ring, which is held in a groove in the hat that overlaps the disc flanges – effectively locking the disc to the hat.
● Exceptional manufacturing standards - Run out less than 0.0254mm, Thickness variation less than 0.00762mm. Surface finishes less than .7 microns. When used in conjunction with Z rated fast road/track day pads, component life and on track performance markedly improved over competitors pads.

987 Competition Cayman 3.2L Plenum: HP Gains 20+ / Torque Gains 18 Requires upgrading factory 68mm Throttle Body with 74mm Throttle Body
Recommended to be installed on modified Caymans with Hi-Flow Cat back exhaust
The perfectly balanced mid engine Cayman/Boxster is Germany's canyon carving track meister. Unfortunately, the Cayman/Boxster was delivered slightly under powered from the factory so as not to threaten the Carrera's throne. The Cayman IPD intake plenum delivers increased performance that puts the Cayman/Boxster in the ring with the Carrera.
The IPD Plenum out performs every other intake system on the market. Don't be fooled by other competitors claiming to offer Plenums. All factory Porsche air distributors are of the "T" variety and therefore suffer from less than ideal air flow and intake air speed.
The genius and power behind the IPD plenums comes from the patented "Y" style design and optimized diversion areas to deliver real and impressive power that will transform your Cayman's/Boxster's performance and heighten your Porsche driving experience.
The Cayman/Boxster IPD Intake Plenums are available in 3 versions, each one specifically designed to meet the performance requirements of varying Cayman/Boxster enthusiasts. IPD offers the ultimate Cayman/Boxster performance upgrades, all the way from mild to wild.
The IPD Cayman/Boxster "Competition" Plenum was designed to meet the needs of the most demanding Cayman/Boxster S enthusiasts. The "Competition" Plenums is even larger and utilizes the 74mm throttle body allowing it to deliver even greater air flow and substantial increases in performance.
The "Competition" version is designed to work with both bone stock Caymans/Boxsters but produces even more horsepower gains (20+) with Caymans/Boxsters already equipped with after market "cat back" high flow performance exhaust and other performance mods.
