About OE Match

OE Match for Porsche

OE Match is a brand that provides a wide range of Porsche components, from gaskets to suspension hardware, engine parts, and interior trim. Over 6,700 individual part numbers, and over 11,800 OE cross-references catalogued, and are constantly developing new lines.OE Match has over 100 new products currently in the engineering phase, which will be quality-controlled and added to their catalog. The mission is to keep all Porsche vehicles on the road by offering a vast selection of parts that can address various problems across different Porsche generations

A Quick Look at OE Match

OE Match information on this page is based on details supplied by the manufacturer or distributor, plus any OE references provided with the parts.

Choosing the Right Fit for Your Porsche

Where OE Match is listed for Porsche, use the supplied model coverage and OE references to confirm suitability. Check details that commonly affect fitment such as model year, side/position, and connector type where relevant.

  • Often chosen when owners want OE-equivalent quality with sensible running costs, especially for routine service and wear items.
  • Typical reasons to replace include restoring reliability, addressing age-related wear, or refreshing multiple components during larger repair work.
  • Common defects from incorrect application include noise, premature wear, leaks, or fitment quirks if the wrong variant is selected or fitted with old seals/hardware.
  • Watch for symptoms such as unusual noises, early wear, or repeat failures after recent work, which can indicate mismatched parts or supporting items left worn.
  • Always cross-check OEM part numbers, read model-year notes, and verify compatibility before ordering.
  • For safety-critical components, confirm specification and fitment carefully and have installation checked by a competent technician.

Browse by Category

If you already know the area you are working on, start with the category and then filter by Porsche model. Where real-world symptoms and typical reasons to replace are provided, use them to keep the wording grounded.

Brakes — Brake components are renewed to restore stopping performance, address wear or upgrade a Porsche for fast road or track use. Common symptoms include vibration under braking, longer stopping distances, squealing, pulling to one side, warning lights and visible wear to discs and pads.

Brake Pad Wear Sensors — Brake pad wear sensors are replaced when pads are renewed or when warning lights indicate a broken or worn sensor. Symptoms include brake wear warnings even with new pads, damaged sensor cables, or broken clips around the caliper area.

Engine Electrical — Engine electrical parts are changed when there are starting, charging, ignition, or sensor-related faults that affect drivability and reliability, such as intermittent no-start, misfires, rough idle, poor charging, warning lights or heat-soak failures.

Service Parts — Service parts are replaced as routine maintenance to keep the engine and systems reliable, efficient, and protected, often resolving hard starting, rough idle, poor fuel economy and warning lights caused by clogged filters or worn ignition components.

Service Kits — Service kits bundle key service components to simplify maintenance and set the car back to a known baseline, especially useful when catching up on overdue servicing or dealing with general sluggish running, inconsistent idle and reduced performance.

  • For brake parts, confirm whether items are OE-equivalent replacements or performance upgrades and check if new fitting kits and sensors are required.
  • On service items and kits, match the kit to your exact Porsche model, engine and year, and review what is included so you can add any extra “while you are there” parts.

Caliper brake line front
This OE Match front caliper brake line is a replacement brake hydraulic line for Porsche 356C models.  This brake line connects within the front brake caliper area and helps support correct hydraulic brake fluid transfer for reliable front braking performance.
Sold each, Fits left or right hand side

Fits:
Porsche 356C 1963 - 1965

The front caliper brake line carries brake fluid under hydraulic pressure to the front brake caliper. A secure, leak-free brake line is essential for correct brake pedal feel, braking response, and safe front brake operation.

Functions
•  Replaces the front caliper brake line
•  Carries hydraulic brake fluid to the front caliper
•  Supports correct front brake operation
•  Helps maintain brake fluid pressure and pedal feel
•  Helps prevent brake fluid leaks at the caliper area
•  Replaces corroded, kinked, blocked, leaking, or damaged original brake lines
•  OE Match replacement for Porsche 356C brake system repair or restoration

Why Replace This Part?
Brake lines can corrode, kink, block, fatigue, or become damaged due to age, moisture, road dirt, brake fluid contamination, and previous brake work. A faulty brake line may cause brake fluid leaks, soft pedal feel, uneven braking, reduced braking performance, or failed inspection. Replacing the brake line helps restore safe hydraulic brake operation and correct front brake system reliability.

When to Replace This Part
•   Brake fluid is leaking around the front caliper area
•   The brake line is corroded, kinked, cracked, blocked, or damaged
•   Brake pedal feel is soft or inconsistent
•   Front brake calipers are being rebuilt or replaced
•   Brake hoses or hydraulic fittings are being renewed
•   The vehicle has failed inspection due to brake pipe condition
•   The car is undergoing Porsche 356C brake system restoration.

Where it fits on the car
This brake line fits at the front brake caliper assembly on Porsche 356C models. It forms part of the front hydraulic braking system and connects according to the factory brake line layout.

Front Undertray - 2 wheel drive
This OE match front undertray is a direct replacement for the original Porsche underbody panel fitted to rear-wheel-drive 964 and 993 models. Installed beneath the front section of the vehicle, it acts as a protective shield for critical components such as the engine underside, steering system, and front suspension.

Fits:
Porsche 964 Carrera 2 1989 -1994
Porsche 993 Carrera 2 1994 - 1998

Diagram ref no 1

This undertray protects the underside of the vehicle from road debris, water, and environmental damage. It also helps smooth airflow under the car, which can improve stability and reduce drag at higher speeds.

Function
•  Protects engine, transmission, and front underbody components
•  Shields against debris, water, and road contaminants
•  Improves aerodynamic airflow under the vehicle
•  Helps reduce drag and enhance efficiency
•  Supports structural integrity of underbody panels

The front undertray is exposed to constant impacts from road debris, speed bumps, and environmental elements, making it prone to damage or loss. A missing or damaged undertray leaves vital components unprotected and can negatively affect airflow and vehicle efficiency.

Replacing it restores proper protection and maintains factory performance.

When to replace
Undertray is cracked, broken, or missing
Visible damage from road impact or debris
  Loose or improperly mounted panel
  During underbody repair or restoration
Increased exposure of engine or suspension components

The OE Match Camshaft Position Sensor plays a vital role in monitoring the precise timing and position of each camshaft. This information is sent to the engine control module (ECM), which also relies on signals from sensors such as the crankshaft position sensor and knock sensors. Using these inputs, the ECM adjusts ignition timing and fuel injection—advancing or retarding timing based on driving conditions like heavy load or changes in air pressure.

When a camshaft position sensor begins to fail, it can trigger a check engine light and, in severe cases, may force the vehicle into limp mode to protect the engine.

Engine Camshaft Position Sensor Function

The camshaft position sensor—often called the CMP sensor—provides real-time camshaft position data to the ECU. This feedback is essential for optimizing ignition timing and ensuring smooth, efficient engine operation. A faulty sensor can lead to significant drivability issues such as hesitation, stumbling, loss of power, or even hard-starting and no-start situations.

Symptoms of a Failing Camshaft Position Sensor

• Check Engine Light (CEL)

A malfunctioning sensor often triggers diagnostic trouble codes related to camshaft timing.

• Extended Crank or No-Start

Without accurate timing feedback, the engine may struggle to start or fail to start entirely.

• Poor Drivability

Hesitation, stumbling on acceleration, and reduced engine power are common signs of a failing CMP sensor.
